I will upgrade my listing when I have had a chance to play with it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT a good choice for Cisco console ports *by R***. on August 11, 2020* 1) The device is NOT a good choice for Cisco console ports. 2) The device offers five operational modes: UDP Client, TCP client, UDP server, TCP server, and HTTPD Client. 3) The 'TCP Server mode' injects extra CR/LF which prevents login on a Cisco device. I tried Putty and Microsoft Telnet to no avail. There are no settings on the hardware serial-to-ethernet for removing echo or setting the CR/LF. 4) However, I was able to access the Cisco console port using the device in "TCP Client mode" while using netcat application on the laptop. Basically, the serial-to-ethernet had to establish the connection to my machine. Settings that I used for Client Mode are: A) On the serial-to-ethernet hardware: a. set "work mode" to: TCP Client b. set "Remote Server Address" to: {IP address of your computer that is running the netcat application} c. set the "Remote Port Number" to: 4040 B) On the computer with the netcat application: a.
