Even though there are dimensions that I should have paid more attention to, it looks bigger in the angled photo. That said, I'm probably happier with it at the shorter length, because it's easy to maneuver when you're sleeping. It would work better for both back and side sleeping if it were an inch or 2 fatter. It didn't on its own do what I bought it for - to help support my knees enough to reduce pain, stay cool, and keep me from sliding down off my 7" wedge pillow (to elevate my upper body). I'm a small and short (ie, petite) lady, so I was worried this would be too big, but far from it; the size does make it versatile, but it's not ideal for leg support for the reasons I was seeking. My solution: stuff it into a pillowcase with my old memory foam contour pillow underneath it. It creates a sort of rounded wedge for less money, if you have another pillow lying around. Honestly, I'd still prefer more height than even this hack provides, which already increases it by more than 50%It isn't enough. Lastly, it collects too much heat. I might keep it only because of my "hack" plus the fact that the cooling versions are MUCH more expensive.
