Love love LOVE this flashlight! I had a Crimson Trace laser/light combo before this and the laser wouldn't hold zero and the battery wouldn't last long but this flashlight was a game changer for me! I haven't put any rounds down range since I've installed this light but I am already obsessed with it! It has some nice weight to it, looks very proportional to my full size M&P 2.0, the light is white and SUPER bright! I also love that the switches are up/down on/off. It's so much faster and easier to switch it on and off with these switches! The light also feels soooooo much more sturdier!

Has nice weight and feels very rigid. Different light modes are good and the light is very bright. Being able to plug in and recharge battery is a plus also.

This light is bright, durable, and dependable! Love the new controls, and the front-loading battery compartment! Highly recommended!

Theres a ton of good to say here. Light is bright, consistent, steady, and clean. The battery is on par with industry standard of about 1.5 hours, but being rechargeable is a huge plus. Its simple and intuitive to install and use. Fits a wide variety of systems. Form and function work hand in hand on this as its well designed and comes with a good amount of mounting options. I didnt notice it getting too hot but i also do t use it for long periods of time at a time, use it as intended and shouldnt have issues.

This is a significant product improvement over the older models with the toggle switch. This is more ambidextrous and works with a wider variety of weapon systems. The issue was always reaching the switch, but now you can have a long and short switch, or whatever you wish. For weapons like the H&K pistols or the railed 1911, this is a game changer for us short handed folks. I also love the new switch for access to the battery compartment. The texture on the switches are very practical and absolutely genius. Whether you like to PUSH the switch or press down, the switch is positive and easy to actuate. The only disadvantage I could see in this is if the switch were bumped accidentally. Brightness is the same as the old TLR1 I have, as best I can tell. The attachment mechanism is pretty much identical, and the battery life is strictly dependent on how you use the light. If you have light-bearing holsters for the TLR1, this light will fit in those without any modification, from my experience.

This thing is very bright. Great light no complaints, looks good on my piece and the rechargeable batteries are nice.

I generally don’t post a review , what works for some , may not work for others . But I had to post this. Do Not Get This - After installing this on my service weapon , after pulling my pistol out of my holster a few times at the range, the battery compartment switch would unlock and the batteries would fall out … not something you want when it counts … I figured this was a fluke , and kept it on, but it kept happening , it could be something with my Safariland level 3 holster (maybe it’s pressing the button and battery release switch) but for the costs , this shouldn’t happen…

Wonderful light, holds 2 18350 batteries, takes a while to kill the battery ive owned a few streamlights all the way back to tlr8ag and the only thing I can say changed is they cheaper out on the button feel when you press the new ones. But everything else is still great. I tried ordering a 2nd tlr-1 hl-x and accidentally ordered the 1000 lumen one instead of this 1500 lumen one so be careful if you order. Very high quality. And the light does reach almost the length of a football field, its not a wide light its for a long range lighting. Worth the money if you are doubtful, olight brand has nothing on streamlight
