Women Mermaid Petticoat Fishtail Underskirt Trumpet Crinoline for Mermaid Wedding Dress

I absolutely love this petticoat! I purchased a large and it fits me perfectly. I usually wear a 2X. I am 5'3 and I love the look and feel of this garment. I bought it to add volume to my wedding dress in hope that it would lift up the bottom of my dress to avoid alteration of the length. It did provide some lift and enhanced the beauty of my dress, however it was not enough to avoid alteration. It is made of high-quality material and the fluffiness and poofiness of the petticoat add elegance to any dress! I plan to keep it in hope of using it for another occasion.

I'm a size 18. 45 inch waist 46 inch hips. This fit perfectly and has a bit of room to spare. Seems to be well made and gives my sequin dress shape.

Good quality for the price. 4 stars because I have to turn it inside out with my dress or else it's kind of poky looking through the dress at times. I haven't steamed/ironed it though. Also I wish it gave just a little more fullness. But I'm satisfied enough not to go on a search for that. The material of my dress is a satin layer then a very light material on top of that. You can see it adds a fullness to the skirt part.

This was the perfect petticoat for my wedding dress!! The fullness was perfect for my shorter train. We eloped in the mountains and it was light and fitting to carry around. Highly recommend for mermaid or trumpet style dresses!!!

I'm 5'8/9". I had a gown that flared our at the bottom but I wanted it to stayed flared when I walk instead of shifting and moving when I walked. So I ordered this. It did NOT go all the way down the floor at my height. However, I was okay with that bc where it stopped did exactly what I need it to do - keep the dress off my feet and helped minimize the risk of tripping over the bottom of the dress. I was about to pull the petticoat to my nature hipline. However, if I wanted it to the floor, I would have had to pull it down closer to my b.u.tt crack (🫣🙃😆). Good material. Definitely flared out well enough for me. The material of my dress was heavy, and it still did a good job.

This is well made and beautiful but if you're on the heavier side with wider hips it's tight. I'm bottom heavy with wide hips and round butt and it's constrictive on my typical size 20 body. I made it work but if you're wearing a body hugging dress the tight seams that squeeze you will show through. I wore this with a body hugging velvet mermaid shaped floor length gown and the ridges across my hips were visible.

Might not be the best for a super heavy dress but PERFECT for my wedding dress! It's not visible underneath the dress and gives it a great flare. It's good quality and not itchy, too! I'm glad I got it in black because it matches the dress even if it does peak out. It puffs out just enough to make a dramatic trumpet shape!

I wore this under my dress for my daughter’s wedding. It was exactly what I was looking for to add volume to the bottom of my dress. Being on the shorter side (5’1) I was happy to find that it wasn't too long for me. It was comfortable to wear for the entire day/evening.
