Get plus size.
Not a plus size guy (6'2, 180) but glad I got plus size after reading reviews. Fits perfectly.

Good quality - a real value for the money
I really enjoyed wearing this costume to a Halloween party. The materials are of good quality, and the small details really add to the overall look. Of course the various parts are light weight, but this is not an everyday wear item. I was worried when I ordered this costume about the waist size on the pants. In the description of the size (extra large) it noted only suitable for a 36 inch waist. I have a 38 inch waist. The pants, however, come with an elastic waistband which would fit easily over a 40 inch waist or larger, so my worries were unfounded. I did stuff the hat with packing paper to keep it upright. Really fun look.

Great look. Lots of Compliments
Got lots of compliments and worked well being the MC (Mad Hatter) for our school staff costume contest. One star less than perfect for the hat has a slight hole at the brim stitching after one use. Can repair it to reuse. Also, a lot of folks though I was also Willy Wonka (so next years costume?)

Does fit a large person
I have trouble fitting into XLarge things (size40) but to pants and top fit good.

The costume was awesome! I wore it in a costume contest at work for an Alice in Wonderland theme and our department won first place.
