No.1-6 Instant Coffee, Specialty Freeze Dried Coffee 6 Count

Best instant coffee I've had! I've been testing out a bunch of instant coffees for an upcoming backpacking trip and this is the best one by far. I'm kind of picky about coffee, so it's been a journey lol. This has a great coffee taste and doesn't have sugar or powdered milk pre-mixed in which is what I prefer. I also love that I can make it with cold or hot water! With hot water it doesn't get that gross chemically taste some cold brew mixes have either. So the versatility is very convenient for my purposes (i.e. sometimes I'll be traveling in a hotel with a kettle but sometimes I'll be camping out without hot water) Roasts #1 and #3 are my favorite! I feel like a lot of coffee makers only make dark roasts for their instant coffee which is a bummer. I'm a much bigger fan of the lighter roasts. The darker roasts from this brand are still good, but I just prefer lighter roasts which is harder to come by. The little cups are also super cute! I've been saving them to do some crafts with because I feel a little bad throwing them out. So that might be my one downside of the product (lots of packaging), but they are really cute. Anyway, overall, great experience. Super easy to use in multiple ways, great flavor profile, nice variety of flavor, and adorable packaging. Possibly a little pricey, but I've shelled out more for coffee that's not as good in less nice packaging. Personally I think for a nicer quality coffee it's worth it, but I've also been struggling to find an instant coffee that meets all my preferences. I just hope they bring back/restock the individual flavor box-bundles so I can stock up on the #1 and #3s!

I start every day with Saturnbird Instant Coffee. Though it’s labeled a cold brew, I always drink it hot. Each package contains six different blends ranging from light and mild to dark and robust. It dissolves very quickly in hot water. The few times I’ve mixed it with cold milk it took a few more stirs, but still dissolved completely. This isn’t your average grocery store instant, so it’s a little pricey. For me, ease of preparation and superior flavor is worth the cost.

The packaging of the coffee is very beautiful and the taste is good, but the price is a little expensive.

This coffee is incredible. It works as either a fake shot of espresso (if you're not picky about the crema) for an iced coffee, but is incredibly smooth to drink black. The packaging is lovely too! I really can't recommend it enough, it's delicious, smooth, and mixes beautifully in water.

These were great for our week longcamping trip. They are easy to use in the tiny little cups are so cute. Even my daughter who is 13 saved them.

I really enjoyed all levels of brew type. I prefer dark roasts, but even the light roast had good taste. My only issue, and why I rated it three out of five stars, is that the amount of plastic that goes into the actual coffee packaging is not very good. Even though the containers are all plastic, recycling plastic is getting less and less favorable here in the United States. I hope that they find a way to make the containers out of 100% recycled plastic. Or switch to a cardboard and compostable material. It’s a great product to take on the go. And having the little containers look like to-go containers is a fun gimmick. I don’t think I’m going to buy it again because of the amount of plastic that is being used. I truly hope that this becomes an eco-friendly company in the near future. If I need instant coffee, I will buy instant coffee that comes in a large glass container that is easily recyclable and reuse these little containers with coffee from the large glass container.

This my second order. I had to order earlier than expected because I made the mistake of making a coffee for my husband, and he stole half the box and took it to work. He went right past the cheaper coffee I had purchased for him, to my nice coffee. I work from home, and love a good cup of coffee, but am do not drink enough or often enough to use a bag of coffee in a timely manner. This works great because it requires no special equipment (I don't have space for a coffee maker on our apartment counter) but produces a great cup of coffee when I want it. As noted, it is also portable enough to take to the office. Just make sure you keep it hidden if you have someone in your home who is tempted by high quality coffee.
