AFM/DFM Disabler & Auto Start/Stop Eliminator for 2005-2024 and Select 2025 GM Trucks, SUVs & Cars

This has made quite a difference in how my truck drives. I have always noticed the auto start stop makes the trucks transmission feel weird even when not going from a stop. I love how this keeps that feature off and I don’t have to press the button everytime I get into the truck. I do have to almost learn how to drive the truck again because it just feels different and almost like it has more power which I know it doesn’t, just more consistent. I have been watching fuel economy and think it may have gone down just a bit intown driving. I have only driven a short longer trip but seemed to actually improve on highway driving. I do think it will stay roughly where it was or possibly get a little bit better fuel mileage once I get used to the way it shifts now. Definitely less of the weird shifting with the transmission, more consistent. It was very easy to plug into the obd port and easy to attach with Bluetooth. Time will tell if this makes a difference on the longevity of the truck. It is a 2021 Silverado with the 5.3 and 65,000 miles.

Plugged it in and had app downloaded and ready to go in a few short minutes. Has not drained my battery and my 22 C8 runs great with no v8 v4 cycling. It has other functions that I have not utilized.

I have a 2021 Corvette Stingray Z51. I put the plug in and updated the firmware after connecting to it with the app. It didn’t connect to the car until I did the firmware update. The car was running so my coolant temp was around 165 degrees so I took it out on the highway where it always goes in v4 mode once I put the cruise control on. Today it stayed in V8 mode full time. So purchase it, plug it in, start the car, open the app, connect to it using the app and answer yes to pair with it, go to update firmware, after the update, connect to it again and connect to your Vette. There is a V8 icon you can press to switch from constant v8 which is default or back to OEM and it will switch to V4 when it wants to. I don’t think you can switch back to full time V8 until you stop but I heard they were working on that. It does work on my 2021 corvette Z51. No check engine light. No other issues pure V8 !!

So AFM/DFM doesn't actually get disabled until after you reach 40mph! I was working with support and this is a hard limit that cannot be changed. As most people drive around town especially when starting out daily, and don't have streets that are over 40mph untill you hit a highway or county/state road... The device doesn't actually kick in when you need it! How needs aAFM/DFM disabled when you are on a highway??? It is quite ashame as the device and UI are pretty impressive but the sheer illogical 40mph limit means HARD PASS

Using this on a 2017 Chevy Silverado to disable the AFM system. It works exactly as described with no issues. Have left it in for weeks and didn't drain the battery. Easy to install and connected right away.

I own a 2022 c8 HTC Corvette. This product is the perfect device to disable the AFM (active fuel management system.) Once my C8 reaches exactly 165 degree water temp she shuts down the AFM. Works perfectly. Plug N' Play. Just make sure your c8 is a 2020-2023.

Very pleased. No more “auto stop” or “DFM”. Doubles as a code reader too which was a pleasant surprise. Plugs right in and works immediately. Works great recommend! I had to take a star away for 3 reasons: 1: connection to the app (not necessary) was a little bit ambiguous. My email to support was responded to within an hour, very good. 2: Either the “auto stop” and “dfm” are both on or both off. You get the impression by advertising that you can control them individually, but you cannot. 3: the device is blinking and active even when vehicle is parked and shut off. This has me concerned about parasitic draw. Overall still very happy that both of theses annoying features (auto stop and dfm) have been shut down.

I does exactly what it is supposed to do. It was easy to set up. I installed it on a 2022 silverado ltz with a10 speed transmission 5.3 liter motor. It runs smoother than it ever has. The transmission is smoother too. I guess the truck is not fighting itself to figure out what gear it needs for how many cylinders it is using. I had to learn how to drive it again, it has so much power. The stop and go is locked out. You have ability to turn both features on and off in the app. the stop/go and and the fuel management. I emailed customer service with some questions, about the lights and battery drain. They where very prompt and curious, with their help. They assured me it shuts off after a short time of not running. It is Quality product, not a quirky piece of junk. The bad news: Gas milage dropped by 3 mpg around town and 2mpg on the interstate. My mileage gage, looks like a scoreboard counting down at a ball game, it counts down so quick at a drive through. Just a wild guess, but you could burn a 1/4 of a gallon of gas waiting on a Big Mac. Or so it seems. I pulled my 9000 pound camper and got about the same as always 9 mpg. I love the way the truck runs, but I am not sure I can afford it. My neighbor is a mechanic and he said, I can pay a little at a time now or plan on paying a lot for motor repairs/replacement in the near future. He paid a lot more than I did, to get his older chevy reprogrammed to lock out fuel management. I am keeping it. I need the truck to last.

this product was suppose to fit in my year truck,clearly stated this in the pictures of the product,after i received it and plugged it in it says not compatible with vehicle and now the seller wont respond to any emails and i have no way of contacting them,so im out $250 .Do not buy this product unless your willing to lose ur money
