Review: Stayed dry! Over 18 hours nonstop downpour. (At 3 years in…) - I’m lucky, because I got this on sale, 3 years ago. Since then, it’s been with us in near freezing, all the way up to 100 F. We’ve had it in multiple rainstorms, and this week, we had 6 tents in our group, and pretty much only ours stayed dry. This was in the midst of a massive storm system that just sat on top of the Catskills (and us), raining down so hard that (in or out of the tent) you couldn’t even talk to the person 5 feet away from you! The rain was ongoing like this (alternating between heavy and torrential) for over 18 hours before our group finally made the decision to evacuate before all the roads became closed out. We were still basically dry inside.
Review: Worth the money - Have had this tent for three years now have taken many camping trips and it is still as great as when we first bought it. Plenty of room on the inside. We put in a queen mattress, toddler bed and blow up couch with still plenty of room in the center.

### ⭐ Rain fly is not waterproof

I liked this tent, size was perfect for a queen sized air mattress (though it was kind of in the way of the door). I used it once, no rain so did not use the rain fly. On the second use, it was storming, heavy rain and downpours. The rain fly leaked. It soaked our bedding and my partner's suitcase flooded. There were puddles inside the tent. The windows were zipped up and the rain fly was properly put on, so initially we were confused until my partner accidentally booked his head on the top of the tent and water showered down from both the seams and the fabric of the rainfly. Not great for a week long camping trip. Thought I could trust Coleman
