Nutricost N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) 600mg, 30 Vegan Capsules, Gluten-Free

I'll start off by saying these are my results and I'm not a doctor but I did listen to one. his name was Dr Berg. if you're having trouble with your liver values or have a fatty liver this supplement is a precursor to the substance needed to help your liver repair. this is why I took it. my liver enzymes after taking it in my lab values are 100% perfect therefore the effectiveness of this medicine is with out question, Priceless to me. I had no troubles with it being digested. as for sleep I realize some of you might be taking this for sleep I had no trouble with sleep prior but it didn't affect my sleep quality. with that being said I honestly think you should give this a try if you're having trouble with the fatty liver. your liver can repair itself. I combined this with milk thistle, super beats the drink you can buy here, and a supplement called tudca. I also eat a lot of avocados and eggs (choline) all of these helped me with my fatty liver. these were my results and what i did.

I bought this product based on reviews. My child has PWS and over the years we have tried different brands of NAC with varying degrees of success. Due to an increase in skin picking over the past year, my son’s psychiatrist recommended trying NAC again at a higher dosage. Once we titrated up to his recommended dose, I noticed a decrease in skin picking almost immediately. I can’t tell you how much relief this gave both my son and I. He has been on this product for about four months, and he rarely skin picks unless he is extremely anxious or very bored. The pill itself is large however, my 11 year-old has no problem swallowing it. I am so thankful for this product and often recommend it to other families suffering from PWS. I plan to keep my son on this indefinitely.

I’ve been taking these NAC capsules for a few weeks now and have noticed a subtle but steady improvement in my overall respiratory health and daily energy levels. Nutricost consistently delivers great value, and I appreciate that these are vegetarian, non-GMO, and gluten-free. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the strong, sulfur-like smell when you open the bottle—which is completely normal for high-quality NAC, but still a bit unpleasant to deal with each morning. Overall, it’s an excellent, budget-friendly choice that does exactly what it’s supposed to do!

NAC should be used for liver repair, poison control, skin health etc. It used to be presciption only - it is that effective. You should also know the following: 1) It blunts or flattens the effect of alcohol, or *any* drug. Don't waste a good glass of wine by taking NAC prior, you will not experience any pleasure from your wine, it will be "flat". Skip it if you plan to socialize with friends over dinner / a glass. 2) Do NOT ever take immediately after alcohol because the combination "reverses" on you and NAC becomes toxic to liver. This is a well studied/ documented fact. 3) NAC modulates dopamine, glutamate, serotonin in the brain so there is never a spike. Many benefits BUT it is not selective - it will flatten your mood all around. Things you normally do for fun can seem a bit "blah". 4) That said, it is a great addiction killer, but, just like GLP 1's take all the fun out of eating, and everything else, NAC does the same thing. It dampens everything ( any form of addiction) which causes you to lose interest in ____________________ ( fill in your crutch of choice). Is it worth it? Of course. Your body and liver will repair and regenerate. Take it off and on to cut the chains off, then go back to enjoying life much healthier.

Very good value for money, no side effect, no bad odour, and easy to use. Easy to swallow too.

I highly recommend NAC..it’s been life changing. I used to dye my grey hair so often now it’s only if I want. My eye lashes have grown back longer after being damaged from false lashes. I’ve lost weight and don’t feel heavy. The detox part is the best, you ease yourself regularly if constipated. The list can go on.. but consistency is what makes it work if you take it right.
