Great and easy to use for elderly person who just needs a basic working phone. Its a plastic flip phone, speaker sounds good and all you have to do is flip it open to answer. Screen is bright, quality ringers. Battery life is average abour 3 to 4 days with general 7 or 8 30 min calls.

I will admit some of the one star reviews had me a bit skeptical of this device. But I found myself wasting a lot of time on my old touch screen phone so I wanted something cheap and simple. Having access to the internet and a computer made setup very easy. I had no trouble setting the phone up on the track phone website. Additionally I want to be very clear your phone should come with the SIM card pre installed already. You do NOT need to purchase a SIM card it comes with one pre-installed(the amazon listing doesn't do a good job at clarifying this at all). It does have a space for a micro SD card if you want to put one in. That said don't be foolish like me and waste extra money on a SIM card you don't need. Overall the phone is okay quality for the price the screen is bright, the phone is fairly large and has big buttons so it would be good for seniors/kids, speaker volume isn't amazing so if you are hard of hearing or make calls in loud environments that may be something to consider. Overall very solid cheap phone. I will certainly buy another if this one breaks. Also 15$/month unlimited talk/text is very competitive in todays market.

Got this last Saturday and have been onlne and on the my landline phone trying to get a it to work. Weak signal or no signal. Tech said to stand by the window and call them next week. Had a Alcatel flip and it worked fine should of stayed with that brand. I guess I'm supposed to stand outside or by a window to get a 2 bar signal [it never goes past 2 bars] .I wait a bit and see if they can fix it. It has only been 3 days. So far I think it's a piece of crap.......Tech tried to help but they just go by the script. I had to remind the woman what certain parts of the phone are called.

The price is right! A basic phone. Cheapest phone any where.

I ordered this Tracfone to replace a lost one recently. It arrived quickly, and was well packaged, but judging from the appearance of the phone's factory box it had no doubt been opened at some point. The strip of tape that holds the flap on the box end was cut, and there was some damage to the box. After close inspection, however, nothing had been taken out of its cellophane factory wrapping and all the papers and booklets were there. Not a deal breaker, but still a bit concerning since the item description said "Brand New". After a call to Tracfone, the service rep was very helpful in transferring my minutes and service from the lost phone to this one. This phone is somewhat larger than my old LG flip, but that's actually a good thing for my aged eyes. It seems to work just fine, and I have an equal or better signal here with it as the old phone had. After a few moments of working with the menus and buttons I am comfortable that this phone will do just fine For the $$ I don't think I could have done better, and am quite pleased overall in this transaction. It does appear, however, that this item was returned or previously purchased and should have been discounted just a bit for that fact.

I love this telephone! I had a problem at first trying to get it activated. When I finally called the right number I got someone that helped me, wasn't in a hurry, was very, very nice, and wanted to make sure that I was happy and satisfied with their service. The phone is easy to use, the camera works fine and I get to play games on it also. I have not had anymore problems with the connectivity, the battery last a long time and I like it better than all the other expensive phones I have used in the past. I highly recommend this phone.

Just kicked having a smart phone on me all the time for a dopamine detox and get away from social media. This phone has been great, setting up the phone plan was easy, and the battery lasts me days. My only complaint is that i need to use earbuds with the old aux plug instead of a type c one, even though the charging port is type c. This has been the perfect in between of serving my modern needs while scratching that 2000s lifestyle itch LOL And there's a spot for phone charms!!

As a phone it's a great phone. As for internet It's hard to use, the keypads do zoom in and out 1 for out 3 for in and 5 for easy scrolling, but it won't tell you that anywhere. You can customize your ringtone but not notifications. There also isn't a way to keep window tabs open, so like when have to do a text verification for something it's almost impossible. The apps are only Kai OS apps and there's not a lot of options including social media or anything official. It does have some Kai created games. The camera isn't great but also not as bad as I expected. It plays music (I downloaded some to my SD card) and the button on the front you can triple click to call an ICE number and if you hold it down the flashlight turns on which is really convenient...although sometimes it turns on in my pocket. Also which you could edit/customize the front screen and the shortcut apps menu. It was really easy to set up. Not sure about long term but it seems pretty durable so far. Connectivity so far is good, it runs on Tracfone obviously so it has the same Tracfone coverage. I got this to get me by for 2 weeks while my regular smartphone is getting fixed and it's definitely an adjustment but it'll get me by! Also you can't get RCS chats so people with smartphones have to turn that off in the group chats to get their messages.
