I bought two of these, one for my bed stand and one for the bathroom cabinet. They are quick and accurate. I took one to my primary care doctor's office and we tested it , the scanner and this one read the same.

Inconsistent. Accuracy is Poor.
Accuracy in Doubt I’ve had this for a year and two months based on when Amazon says I purchased it. I’ve got an infection with a fever right now and have been monitoring my temp with this. But I’m going to have to get a second thermometer. I can’t trust this one. I can take my temp five times in a minute and get five different readings, all different. For example, I just now did it several times and I got 99.3, 98.4, 99.0, 99.6, 98.6. Over a full degree of variation seems excessive to me. This isn’t a one off either. I’ve been trustful of it since I got it but since I’m supposed to be tracking my temp carefully right now, I need to get one I can rely on.
