Had all new steering wheel and seat set up....thought I would treat to a gear stick for fun.....Returned product due to it not being compatible with my Xbox x or Forza horizon 4/5. It is not a great design chunky square which would need a solid table top to use on...I use a playseat with side extension.It didn't fit well with my seat so tried using a coffee table next to me ,even then I found it difficult to use.

After reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical as to wether I would receive a brand new item, as it turned out yes I did and can't fault it. The RS shifter/handbrake is extremely well made as you'd expect from Logitech. I'm using it as a handbrake in my set-up.

I purchased this to use as a handbrake with a G29. I purchased the required racing adapter. The problem is that I can't then use the shifter as it uses the shifter port, so I had to send it back.

Great build quality, great strong feel to it - really enhances the gaming experience. Nice and quiet and premium quality compared to other products that maybe a lot more expensive. So good value for money. And has multi functions.

Item itself seems very well made and durable however what is not commonly known is that this shifter does not work with Xbox controller without an additional adaptor from Logitech which is currently priced at £39.99. At the time of writing this, it has been challenging to purchase the adaptor as there is limited to no stock available unless you get lucky. I've had the RS gear shifter for around 2 months now and still not been able to use it as I need to get a Logitech adaptor which is the hardest part. The RS shifter has a USB end but the Logitech wheel require a 9 pin plug so it cant be directly wired into a Logitech Wheel hence the adaptor is required. 3 Stars given purely for its quality feel (would have been 5 if it worked) but its practically in its current form is 0.
