Review: It was a gift and he loves it - This was a holiday gift for a family member who is 14. He uses it for riding to school most days. They said that assembly was easy, and the bike seems sturdy and it's holding up well after five months of consistent usage. I haven't had a bike in many years, but it feels fairly lightweight to me, and seems comfortable for the teen using it. It's his first bike, though, so he had no comparison point.
Review: Good road bike and 7 speeds. - I wanted a lightweight hybrid road bike with 7 speeds to get exercise and ride around the downtown here. I can say I like this bike a lot. It is a good frame with good components. I replaced a few quickly though. --Don't recommended for off-road trails, get something more heavy duty for offroad trail riding. Likes: Frame is light Brakes are good, better than expected. Rides stable with 240lbs. Issues: Gear shifts are decent, but gets stuck when downshifting to gear 4/5, seems to need adjusting. The headlight is cheap and broke after 2 uses. They are sending another one, rather get $5 refund to buy something better. I spent an extra $50 for a better seat and pedals, now the bike feels like a $900 bike.
