The media could not be loaded. I bought this fireplace to fit in a console that I had in my bedroom. The previous fireplace broke so I ordered this one from Amazon. It’s lovely. It was absolutely a no-brainer to install it, and the warmth is incredible. It has different modes of speed and flicker to the fireplace it does not have a crackling sound, however. Which is no big deal to me. This fireplace is in my bedroom and I love the ambience that it adds. Remember to measure your fireplace on the outside to the exact inch because returning these heavy freight orders or hustle and you have to pay return shipping in most cases. I would highly recommend ordering this one. It’s lovely and has a faux brick background. Thank you.

This is a really nice-looking fireplace insert and is easy to install to get it running right away. I do wish I had got the insert kit which gives you the trim, but I didn't. With the trim its easy to dress the item and hide the attachments so right now I made custom trim to overlay onto the insert. The logs have a very nice and realistic look to them as does the background stones. The heater part works really well in our 20x15 den and heats up the area in no time. My only gripe is the look of the flame, compared to others I have looked at this orange/ red tint flame is just lacking a realistic or good look. I do wish for the 260 they would give you the complete kit and not just the insert. Overall, I am happy, price just seems high for what you receive, so 4 stars.

This is a good quality fireplace insert. It is beautiful. Pretty simple to install.

I install fireplaces and build them out as a side job and this is a very nice fireplace. The depth and fake brick behind the glass gives it a real wood burning fireplace feel.Install is straightforward and easy to build a frame and install. It plugs right into a normal outlet too.It gives off good heat and will warm up a smaller room pretty quick.It has 4 different flame settings but they are all the same orangish red tone. The flames in the background don’t look amazing like other fireplaces I’ve done but the logs look real good on this one.Overall if you are looking for a nice insert that looks like a real wood burning fireplace this is a great option!

Nice fireplace insert overall but lacks on finer detail. The brick background on the one we received had gaps on each side, it looks like it was short cut and inserted. Just not quite the professional job I would expect for a $300 insert. I thought the button on the remote that changes the fire effect had quit working but discovered it just takes a very firm press of the button. The heater heats up nicely and blows quietly and puts out a nice amount of heat. The flame effect has orange and red colors, no blue. It looks nice in operation and will make a great addition to our family room once I get it mounted into the mantle we're going to use with it.
