This compression kit is fantastic for preventing cauliflower ear and treating swelling after training. The magnets are strong but comfortable, and the pads are soft and easy to clean. My husband train BJJ and wrestling regularly, and this set has been a game changer for recovery and protection. It also comes with alcohol wipes and a storage case, which makes it very convenient. Great quality and very effective — I would definitely recommend it to all athletes!

This is perfect. The pads help the magnets from digging into my ear and giving me a massive headache. I like the different sizes. It really helps for different placement. They have a nice smooth texture. The connected magnets is perfect because I kept losing my other magnets that were not connected. Most importantly, they DO help with cauliflower ear but you really have to drain it while you can first.

The magnets work do what they’re supposed to, but I’m not sure putting magnets on your ears after draining actually helps, at least it doesn’t help if you keep training without headgear. So if you’re going to pause your training for a few weeks to heal, or train without headgear after draining then these might help reduce swelling more quickly, but if you’re not going to alter how you train, then it’s better to just keep training as is and let it callous over, especially if you don’t care how you look.

I bought this ear magnet set for my husband who trains BJJ, and it works great! The compression is strong but comfortable, and it really helps prevent swelling after training. The magnets stay in place well and don’t irritate the skin. The set even comes with alcohol pads and instructions, which is very convenient. Definitely worth it!

If you're reading this, you need these, or you might. We mat people get thumped and dumped on a regular basis, and that means painful ears, or at worst, auricular hematoma, i.e. cauliflower ear. That happens when there's a sudden smack, and the outside ear bruises and swells with blood, then separates from the cartilage. If you don't do anything, your ear might form scar tissue under there as it heals, and voila! You've got the BJJ look. Hey, some people like it. And I wouldn't mess with anyone whose ear looked like a blacksmith's anvil. But I'm burying the lede: These are excellent compression accessories, with very strong magnets, soft silicone, and even little cases and pads. So why four stars? Because of the price. A set of small neodymium magnets in silicone shouldn't cost you $23; $20 should be the ceiling, and realistically, $15 is a fair price. If this were the case, these little doodads would cruise easily into the five-star category. Why not just buy a few disk magnets for less? Aside from cost, however, they work and they're comfortable. You'll be glad you have them, for sure, but at $23, I'd prefer to be thrilled to have them. You make the call- it's probably more accurate to give them 4.5 stars. Guard up, mates. Z

This works very well. I had to return it because my tragus is small so they kept coming off . The magnets were pulling on each other causing it to pull closed and fall off the tragus.

I'm thrilled. I really liked them, they're comfortable and provide good protection.
