Some say it stains. I say bring it on! Red is notoriously hard to maintain, and if a mess is required I accept it with open arms. Remember to always, always, always wear gloves when working with chemicals! I had initially attempted to permanently dye my hair with ion. The top of my head was beautiful, but my ends were a murky brown. My wallet was not happy. I’ve tried other color depositing conditioners, but this has given me the best results so far. This product fixed all the color mismatch! I will be back in a few weeks to give an estimate on its longevity. Great so far!

Trying to cut down on how often I dye my hair and overprocess it so I tried out this color and it worked amazing my roots don’t stand out. My red is refreshed and is definitely something that will get me at least another four weeks in between root touchups.

Color swatches in the photo are NOT accurate. I have been doing my own hair for 10+ years and this is easily the worst one I’ve ever used (even worse than Splat!!!). Came out patchy and electric orange, nothing like it’s advertised. I have a blonde halo which I carefully sectioned out to ensure it did not get dyed, despite washing throughly in cool water the orange STILL BLED everywhere, wasting the half an hour I spent sectioning. Do not buy this crap

Lindo color

I've been coloring my hair red for the past 8 years and have tried nearly every semi-permanent color conditioner on the market. My goal wasn’t to dye my hair a new color, but simply to refresh the red and bring back some vibrancy. The instructions say to apply the product to clean, dry hair—but let’s be real. I don’t have the time or patience to wash, dry, apply, rinse, and dry again, especially with hair that’s past my waist and takes two business days to fully dry. So, I used it on semi-clean, dry hair instead. I ended up using the entire bottle (long hair problems) and left it on for an hour. Since my hair wasn’t freshly washed, I had to shampoo afterward, which may have stripped the color effect entirely. I didn’t notice any real change in tone or vibrancy. That said, it wasn’t a total loss—it did leave my hair feeling a bit softer.

I thought I could use it like my old dye/conditioner product and just slather it on in the shower, however it was alot stronger than I anticipated! I put it on in the shower and left it in for awhile but it came out super streaky and bright but my hair felt pretty good so I re applied it with mostly dry hair and used an applicator brush for dye and it came out bright and the perfect color! Also my hair before dying was a light brown with copper tint. Would try again my hair feels very soft and not damaged.🙂👍

I purchased this product several days ago and put it on my hair right after I received it. Followed the instructions to a tee and was overall quite pleased. I washed it out with cold water until the water ran clear. I had no issues with transfer that night or the next day. I went to wash my hair last night in the shower and imagine my surprise when suddenly everything is orange. I've used color depositing conditioners before, mostly Overtone, and I've never had this happen. The dye had been in my hair for about 48 hours and no issues. I am SO upset because I have a custom pearl name plate necklace that I have worn for years. I got it because it's water proof so I was wearing it in the shower. My beloved necklace is now orange and my towels are orange. Everything is orange. I can understand if I didn't wash the dye out correctly, but I clearly did. I had no issues until I showered again, which I don't think should happen. I am beyond upset about my necklace being ruined. Listen to the other reviews and save yourself - it's just not worth it.
