## Description

Our newly redesigned Allpa 42L reflects our pursuit of bag perfection. While all of the customers' favorite features of our best-selling Allpas remain, we've made some groundbreaking updates. New features include improved weight distribution and airy mesh shoulder straps for ultra-comfortable carrying, an expandable outer water bottle pocket and a luggage passage strap that slides easily over the handle of a wheeled bag (like our Allpa roller bags). Most importantly, our Allpas are now made with 100% recycled fabrics.

Review: Great - 4.5 stars. This is a good bag. It's surprisingly difficult to find a bag in this size capacity (around 25L), that is lightweight, has a laptop compartment that also has a water bladder tube opening, a sternum strap, and isn't ugly as hell. The closest I've found is the Daylite Plus, but they're just too small for my needs. My travel daypack for the past decade has been a 15L Osprey daypack. It's perfect most of the time, but there are occasions when I'm traveling and have trouble stuffing souvenirs, a bottle, jacket, and camera gear into it. This bag has just enough extra space to handle that kind of stuff without becoming cumbersome. The very deep water bottle pockets mean I can keep my bottle outside of the pack. The unexpected MVP of the bag is the elastic string, which allows me to keep even more internal space free by strapping my jacket to the outside, or even a pair of trekking poles. Incredibly useful (though I can see it potentially getting snagged on something in a busy environment). My only complaints are that I find the pen pocket/internet organization more or less useless. A single mesh zippered pouch would've been much better. I also wish the overall pack was made of something that felt higher quality, like a ripstop material with more water resistance.

Solid backpack and looks great. Can get scuffed up somewhat easily, one of the better looking backpacks with plenty of pockets and space. Doesn't look massive when packed either. Comfortable straps etc
