Scissor Blade - Kill La Kill Ryuko Matoi Sword

My scissor blade came in quickly and well put together. It's made of wood so isn't as light as foam but is still light enough to raise with one hand. Some reviews said it came fallen apart but that's not the case with me, I've swung it around and so far it's very sturdy. The paint job is complete and nice. It's so cheap and it shipped so quickly!

Amazing, it looks like the real thing. My only complaint is that it chips easily and the color is a bit bright. If you're buying this for a convention, have no fear this prop will not be taken away from you due to it being wood and very light. I got many compliments and I will be repainting it darker but otherwise this sisscor blade will complete a ryuko cosplay.

This cosplay sword is beautiful, it is solid and made from wood, not plastic so it looks really nice and feels amazing to wield, it has some heft to it but it's not too heavy, and it does not feel cheaply made or anything. It is accurate, and looks just like in the photo. I highly recommend this sword for a Ryuko Matoi cosplay.

This is a great prop. It's wooden but not too heavy and sturdy enough I won't have to worry about it bending or breaking like I would with a cardboard or foam home made one (I'm really not that good with making weaponry). I got it faster than I expected too; Amazon said it'd be in by the 18th and I got it in on the 12th. Quite excited about that! I should be able to hang this on the wall of my room once I'm done with my Con, so I'm quite excited about that. One star off is simply because it's on the rough side and could have been smoothed or sanded some more.

So I got this because I'm cosplaying Ryuko at a con this summer, and I didn't expect it to be this great. It's a nice size and although theres not as much detail as there is on the show, (which is expected and doesn't bother me at all) it's amazing. It's a little heavier than I expected but theres no issue lifting it etc. You can really tell they worked very hard on this and this blade is amazing for the price it's at. I highly recommend this. <3

It's made out of light wood and well sanded. The paint is also good, my only problem is that it feels a little shorter than the actual blade, but it looks good with cos-play non the less. It doesn't have nearly as much detail as the show, but that was expected as the picture doesn't ether(For 40 bucks I didn't expect extreme detail) It is a really good buy for the price.

Perfect reproduction, but I realized I initially bought the wrong sword for my cosplay. Ended up buying the other one and they sent it SO FAST. Nice heavy wooden prop, fits perfectly with the other blade, no complaints whatsoever (ok, one nitpick - some difficult to reach spots weren't as solidly painted as others, but you'd have to be looking so close to notice it so I'm not gonna ding a star for that). Just super fabulous. So many compliments. Will definitely come back to this store for similar cosplay prop needs.

Came fast enough and with no problem. One small detail, the blade is sharped on the wrong side. The curvy side is the blade, not the stright edge side. But i can sand and fix that. Paint job was a bit shoddy, but i can repaint. Edit 10/25: So I ended up buying this same blade again only because it comes the fastest and the cheapest. More still, the end was messed up (crushed) looking, the paint job is shoddy (but again I will repaint), Both sides are supposed to be sharp, not just the one, and now, even though the last one I bought was solid and the one in the picture is solid, I received one that opens? Hate to break it to the maker, but the magnet is no where near strong enough to make the blade hold shape when holding it the correct way. In the end I will make more changes and hope for the best. I would maybe add an option for the solid blade and for the open blade? Seems you send them out at random.
