I have a very strong stubble growth to shave, a cheap razor is a waste of time, so is the best of electric shavers - a fortune has been spent on them & they do not work for me - I'm currently using the Gillette Labs Razor. I've previously bought this cream & was very impressed, but I like to try alternatives from time to time. However I keep coming back to this shaving cream. It's very affordable, the tin contains the same volume as a shaving cream tube, you just have to take a little care dipping your shaving brush into it to lather up in a shaving bowl. the lather is very smooth and with a decent razor I get a really smooth shave, no irritation afterwards and although it has a pleasant scent that's irrelevant after applying aftershave. I have to give it top marks and continue to use it.

One shave in and WoW, instant difference in overall quality of shave experience. Rich smooth lather with a lovely fragrance that reminds you of the ingredients - a little goes a long long way. Update 27/08: On to my second tin of the good stuff - this one arrived with a dent in the lid - disappointing. ;(

Arrived on time undamaged. Smells good and not overpowering. Husband very pleased as has given a good shave for his sensitive skin.

So this is my first time trying Hawkins and Brimble shaving products. I have found this to be an excellent shaving cream. It has a lovely consistency to it, lathers up without any effort at all and has such a pleasant, fresh aroma. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and refreshed. It causes no irritation and is perfect for those who have sensitive skin. An excellent addition to any gentleman’s morning shaving routine. I could not have been happier with this purchase, I was genuinely impressed with how much I liked this shaving cream. At first glance, the tin looks moderately sized, but you literally only need a fingertip sized amount to generate an extremely generous amount of lather. Definitely 5 stars from me :-)

The product is very good as the title says it lathers up well and a blade glides well on it, I purchased this as proraso have stopped posting to where I live and I was say it's on par or better than the proraso creams. The only thing holding this product back is the scent, the only way I can describe it is it smells like any care home I've ever been in, and not just lightly, but it's very strong and the smell stays on you for quite some time. If there was a different scent it would be 5 stars

I’ve been using this for a few years and it really is the best shaving cream I’ve ever used. A little bit on a brush goes a long way. It is smooth and smells great. I follow up with their aftershave cream and my wife always says I smell good.
