no issues after year of regular use
one year later - no issues. I can't complain with that. I've played some heavy duty games with UE5 and 2K/4K and running a 9700X Ryzen with a 5070 Ti. Not noisy, no whine, no cutout, not a single problem. So, for those wondering it is a GOOD PSU to get as long as you get enough wattage for your setup. Super easy to work with, can pick just the exact cables I needed and love the white color to match my PC case.

All the right connectors at a great price
Wanted to upgrade my Nvidia graphics card and I needed a new power supply with enough power to run it and also have the 12 pin connector so my card connects right. I have used Thermaltake PSUs before so I knew this would be exactly what I needed. Great brand at a great price! Just remember, if you are changing your PSU you need to use the cables that came with it. Don't use what you had because not all cables are wired the same.

Works with the Advertised SATA Support
Unlike its 750W option, this actually contains 6 SATA power connections. The cable length is sufficient for the full-ATX case, and comes with ties for cable management. It's quiet, and steadily powers the desktop.

It works exactly as expected.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and have no complaints; it does the job perfectly. My PC has an RTX 5070 and a Ryzen 9600X, and it powers them without any issues. I've seen some people mention coil whine with this PSU, but I haven't noticed any of that. However, both my CPU and GPU are undervolted, so they aren't drawing much power, which might explain why I haven't noticed anything, or maybe I've just been lucky.

Unreliable, pick something else
Unfortunately, I don't have anything good to say about this power supply. Worked fine for about 3 weeks and then suddenly up and died in the middle of a gaming session. No warning, no loose cables/connections, and no possible way that I was hitting the 850 watt power limit. Unit simply turned off, shut off my PC uncommanded, and refused to power back up. At first I was sure something had malfunctioned with my motherboard, but nope; hooked up my old 800 watt Cooler Master PSU that this unit was supposed to replace, and the whole system booted up fine (thank god that was the first thing I tried instead of removing the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS). Looking at the reviews, perhaps what happened with my system was an isolated incident, but even so, I would steer clear of this particular unit from Thermaltake. After all this went down, I tried to find an evaluation of this unit on the LTT Labs site (Linus Tech Tip's hardware testing site), and while they hadn't tested this exact model, they had tested a similar model from Thermaltake and BOTH their test units failed during testing. Cannot recommend this item at all, would give it zero stars if I could.

Great PSU if you can find it on sale!
Was able to get this on sale, and it was delivered a steal. This PSU make cable management very easy and is great for trying to find a good 850W that won’t break the bank. Can get a little noisy, but ultimately does its job.

Mega Loud and Stress Inducing
Took me 3 months before I realized THIS is the reason my PC sounds like it's taking flight every time I boot up a game. But worst of all, the fan speeds up randomly every 30 seconds while idol instead of staying at a consistent speed. This is a product that no-one should buy.

Excelente
