Works well
These ABD pads worked exactly as expected, especially for post-surgery care. They are well-sized, highly absorbent, and provide good coverage without feeling bulky. The material feels soft against the skin and didnโt cause any irritation, which was really important during healing. Each pad is individually wrapped and sterile, giving peace of mind for wound care. They also stay in place well when secured with tape or a wrap. Overall, a reliable and essential item to have on hand for recovery or first aid needs.

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Exceptional Quality and Reliability for Post-Surgical Recovery
Following a recent surgery, my surgeon specifically recommended that I use 5x9 inch abdominal pads for wound management. After researching several options, I chose the GauzeCare 20-pack, and they have been an essential part of my healing process. These pads offer exactly the level of protection and comfort required for significant surgical sites. The thickness and absorbency of these pads are remarkable. They are designed to handle heavy drainage without leaking through to clothing or bedding, which provided me with a great deal of peace of mind during the first week of recovery. Despite their high capacity for fluid, the pads do not feel overly bulky or stiff, allowing them to contour well to the body when secured with medical tape or a binder. One of the most important features is the non-stick outer layer. Changing dressings can be a painful and delicate process, but these pads did not adhere to the wound or cause any trauma to the skin upon removal. This feature alone makes them superior to standard gauze. Additionally, the fact that each pad is individually sterile-packed is vital for preventing infection, and it makes them very easy to toss into a travel bag for follow-up appointments. The quality of the material is soft and does not cause irritation, even with extended contact against sensitive skin. For anyone preparing for a surgical procedure or looking to stock a serious first aid kit, these combine pads are a professional-grade choice. They performed exactly as my doctor hoped they would, and I highly recommend them for anyone needing reliable, heavy-duty wound care.

Simple, Reliable, and Exactly What We Needed
What can I say โ she had surgery, and we used these ABD pads to cushion the area between her incisions and her compression garment. They did their job, plain and simple. Theyโre soft, absorbent, and the perfect size for covering and protecting sensitive areas without shifting around. No irritation, no issues, and they held up well through multiple dressing changes each day. If you need dependable, comfortable pads for post-op care, these are a solid choice. They made a tough recovery a little easier, and thatโs all I could ask for.

Great price and quality
Very great price and quality. Bought this for my son whom burnt his arm in a 4 wheeler accident. Didnโt stick to his burn but soaked it up as it states. A must have for burns.

Here's the Abdominal Pad You've Been Looking For
To start, I managed to spill a scalding hot pot of freshly made chicken broth on the front of me, resulting in 2nd and 3rd degree burns across my abdomen. I don't recommend anyone do this, by the way. I was given limited supplies at the ER, so I had to dig for my own and ordered these. My burns are approximately 14" wide and 13" long, so I needed the biggest pads I could find. Believe it or not, large abdominal pads are hard to find, so I was delighted when I found these, even though they're not nonstick. The PROS (in my opinion): These pads are 5"x 10"- the biggest I've ever seen, which is exactly what I needed. I taped 3 together, with silk tape, to form one huge pad, and it covered everything! Burns drain a lot, but big burns are particularly nasty. These pads absorbed everything like a champ. After a day or two of use, I took a good look at the pads and realized they're basically disposable baby diapers, without the stretchy sides, except they're thinner. I don't care because nothing else was even close to the size I needed. The CONS (in my opinion): There are few cons for me, but don't try to use these pads with paper tape. You'll need something stronger, like silk tape. These pads ARE NOT NONSTICK. I thought they were when I ordered them, but I misread the description, so the responsibility of that falls on me. This was easily remedied by gently pouring warm water on the pads to soften the dried drainage to remove them painlessly. It's best not to cut these pads to size. If you cut them, the insides will fall out immediately. If you must cut them, seal up the cut edge with a piece of tape to keep everything inside. The pad filling will sometimes clump up on me and feel weird, but it doesn't seem to affect its performance. I can't recommend these pads highly enough as they literally saved my life by keeping my burns, which are still healing as I type, covered and safe.
