Unsafe
One of the spurs fell off my boot while mid climb. Had to stop climbing lower myself down the tree. The company would not return or refund for the unsafe product

I strapped them on and went to go up the tree i am a arborist and did not feel safe at all. terrible purchase not made well at all. Just dont do it. Dont waste your time or money

Usable for home use..
Not sure if it's real leather but if so I'd prefer a little better grade for comfort/pliable reasons.. I've only used once for tree in yard and I'm still here.. so 3+ stars it is..

le matériel est bien , mais il y a un petit bémol sur l'annonce il est indiqué sangle en cuir et celle si ne le sont je pense que pour du matériel de sécurité très spécifique la moindre des choses c'est de se tenir a ce que l'on dit je serai heureux si cette société m'enverrai de vrai sangle de maintien en cuir comme indiqué sur l'annonce si toutefois cette société est vraiment sérieuse , bien à vous gepeto

Ne pas acheter. ce produit ne permet pas de monter en sécurité, même sur un poteau téléphonique, encore moins dans un arbre. Le crochet n'accroche pas, on glisse. Totalement inutilisable et extremement dangereux.

The leathers were installed backwards when I first opened the package. I corrected this and they did the job!

Each spike should be pointing slightly forward instead of directly perpendicular to the foot support. The slight forward would allow a climber to kick forward to sink the spike into the tree trunk. By having the spike perpendicular to the foot support a climber would have to kick side-way, which could cause injury to the other leg if he missed the tree trunk (never mind that it is difficult to kick with the same force as when you do it forward).
