Clean Clear Microscope *****
Very nice. Clear pictures and rechargeable makes this a keeper. Great for hearing aid owners. Electronic work too.

You got to put it on top of the thing for it to be clear. Otherwise it’s great!
It’s really a good product you just got to know how to use it. I was using it like a normal magnifying glass and the image was very blurry. However, when I started to really put it close and I mean you really gotta put it on top of the thing, it’s quite remarkable. I’m very grateful for it because my nephew decided it would be a great idea to grab a cactus and got stung and it hoped us see clearly where the thorns were. It has a great gift value and very much worth the money. So far it’s got a great battery life. Only charged it once and it’s still good, mind you I don’t use it very often but I haven’t had to charge it with every use. Haven’t tried out the connectivity but not holding out too much hope because I own a MacBook and I haven’t found any software compatible with it but who knows? Overall good buy and very useful.

Cheaply made be prepared for item replacement and or 64GB card for picture retrival.
Had to return the item after 5 days use after the camera button broke. Doesn't come with 64GB microSD card to save your photos. 64GB is the highest microSD card this microscope will handle. It does have a option to replace on item return process. I replaced it because it was a gift otherwise I wouldn't have reordered. Do I think the microscope is a useful tool? On a scale of 5 a 3. The view on computer is a great idea. You may need glasses to see the LCD screen. Great for kids. Not an everyday use adult gadget like the Elikliv Autofocus 4K Digital Microscope EM4K-AF, 52MP Soldering Microscope for PCB Repair, Coin Inspection & Watchmaking, 2000X Magnifier Scope, 8" IPS Screen, HDMI/USB Output, 10" Stand, 64GB Card That I own and use. That I own and use, and I highly recommend! https://www.amazon.com/review/review-your-purchases/?asin=B0D2K2GSTF&channel=YAcc-wr-thankyou&ref_=ryp_hz_thnk_l_1&bannerType=NO_BANNER.

Absolute Garbage, now that MaxSee doesn't work
Garbage - Totally agree with other "1 star" reviewers. This scope WAS good for WiFi while MaxSee was working. Now, it is a paperweight. I have tried all other apps (Android), and nothing, including the one recommended by Takmly, will work more than 2 seconds before freezing and disconnecting. Too bad, it was good while it lasted. Now it goes into the trash, and I am looking for one of the competitors (that will work). Let me clarify something - At best, it as, in my opinion, a "toy". The adjustment dials are WAY too sensitive, and you really have to have this mounted on something for it to be usable. For coins, on a stable base, where you can eventually set the focus on a specific point and swap coins (not moving the camera), it works well. Move the object, not the camera. More 'clarification' - to give you some idea of the sensitivity of the adjustment dials - on a 'regular' microscope, you could turn a dial maybe 3-5 full times to adjust the same that this does in maybe 1/2 turn. There is no fine tuning unless you are really lucky. For anything else (like looking at trichomes on a growing plant), it is close to useless. You have to be REALLY lucky to hold the camera still, at the right distance, at the right spot, for more than a second to have a chance to snap a photo. Again, a tripod mount would help here, but it was more of a challenge to use than it was worth. To be completely fair - IF you are hooking this up WIRED to a COMPUTER (NOT a phone, NOT using Wifi), and you are using the base (NOT handheld), and you are looking at something like coins, paper money, or fabric that you can slide into the focal area, you should be ok. Wireless, however, go find something else. Update 8/12/24 - after re-reading the review above, I do stand by what I said. I purchased this device when it DID work - when MaxSee worked. I used it for coins, stamps, and observing trichomes. While WILDLY sensitive and almost impossible to use if holding in your hand (I purchased a microphone stand to mount it on so it would be stable for looking at plants), it will work if mounted on a stand, AND connected by a wire to your computer. The wireless connectivity (the only reason I purchased this particular microscope) disappeared when MaxSee stopped working. You would think the company (Takmly) would develop and support their own software for this device, instead of relying on someone else.

Third time's the charm!
Updated Review: I definitely had some problems with my first two microscopes. The second seemed to have been a problem with the USB cable, so that explains that. The first is still a mystery. Maybe wear and tear or something I simply didn't notice. Luckily, with the latest one everything is working as intended. For some reason it works with more functionality with the accompanying software. I'm not sure how that is possible, but I'm definitely not complaining! It's worth noting that I still use this microscope solely attached to my PC via USB cable. I have tried it out wireless with my phone and it worked flawlessly. If you happen to have any problems with your microscope do not hesitate to reach out to the seller - they provide great customer service! - - original review below - - I've gone through two of these microscopes already. I treat them with care, as direct, etc. I really enjoyed the size and design of this microscope, the lighting, just about everything. My first microscope worked great but inexplicably stopped working after about 5 months. It started with losing the picture through the software when using it on my PC. I'd reconnect it, power cycle it, reinstall the software - everything. Eventually it just stopped doing anything. Unfortunately at that point I was well past my return or replace option, so I bit the bullet and bought another one. The second one worked for about two days before I'd lose picture (screen/image would simply go black). I'd have to stop recording and start again and the picture would come back. Then that "fix" stopped working. I'd have to close the software or restart the microscope and then it would work - but for only 2 more minutes, max. That one I was able to return. I still plug in my old one every now and then in hopes it will just start working again. Maybe one day. I really loved this microscope, but it's WAY too unreliable.
