Great quality, measurements right on, as described

It is probably the easiest way to check your chamber or test out you molds before you commit to reloading or casting.

This bar was right on the weight and is potentially one of the cooolest things ever. I'm kind of inexperienced as a metalurgist and although I fix a lot of things I had never come across bismuth outside of a chemistry class so of course I thought this was amazing on first sight. Then once I realized I could do anything with this I was infatuated with this and now other metals. This is a wonderful product to give to someone inquisitive or handy. It creates a root starting point in the imagination that you can grow many things out of. This is an item of contemplation for me and in fact if I keep it around it can become distracting.

Works perfectly for chamber casting.

This is a low melting metal which is only limited by your imagination. I got what this product page said I would get, 1lb. I plan to use this in molds to make metal figures. So far melting has been easy and I have no complaints with this product.

It looks like a piece of aluminum, but it is much heavier. My scale said it was right on 1 pound. I cut off a small piece and dropped it into a pan of boiling water and sure enough, it melted. I plan to use this to check the chamber sizes of several old rifles that I own. The metal can be used and then re-melted to use it over and over.
