Kynup Digital Caliper, Vernier Calipers 150mm with Inch/mm Conversion

Overall, a very good buy. I have a couple of digital calipers. A plastic one from Aldi or similar - pretty nasty. A cheap metal one, also built to a price and the battery is always dead unless you remember to take it out before putting it away. I liked the look of these oversized displays and they really are good. The build quality is good, bit not 'Mitotoyu' at this price. The only negative, which it barely deserves at this low price, is that it is a bit heavy in the hand and can feel rather like a heavy spanner rather than a precision tool. Like me, you probably get one of these calipers out once a month to take a measurement off something, then put it away. If so, this is great. It is accurate, the display is just incredible - very clear and bright - and the unit correctly zeros when closed, suggesting that there is virtually no play in the system. Bargain. If you use a caliper all day, spend the money and buy a beautifully balanced Mitotoyu from Japan. It will be over £100 or fake. Otherwise, you could do a lot worse than this tool.

Early days, but this product is sturdy and is working well. The display is clear and bright. The battery is 3v which may give the display longer life than some other vernier calipers that use very small batteries. Measurement increments are sensitive, and so far, accurate. Better quality than the one I bought on the high street many years ago.

I bought this Kynup digital caliper for general DIY and workshop use where I wanted quick, accurate measurements without guessing. It’s easy to use and the digital display is clear and readable, which makes measuring much faster than using a traditional vernier. Measurements feel consistent and accurate for typical tasks like checking thickness, diameters, and internal dimensions. Build quality is decent for the price. It feels solid enough for regular light use and hasn’t gone out of calibration or behaved unpredictably so far. Overall, a very practical measuring tool that’s useful to have around the workshop. Good value if you want accurate measurements without spending a lot.

Quite heavy, but seems durable. My only real complaint is that it has two buttons, on/off and reset (to zero). Why the reset button? Power it off then on again and it's back to zero, It does not remember the last measurement (some other calipers do). Probably this is to extend battery life, and certainly after nearly a year of not being used, it still operates! (unlike others I've tried). So, whatever, the reset button is unnecessary, shame it can't remember the last position, if that is what you want? (I do!), but very good overall.

I am very happy with this digital caliper. It feels solid and well made and the measurements are accurate every time. The display is clear and easy to read and switching between metric and imperial units works instantly. The sliding action is smooth and the zero reset function is very handy. It comes ready to use right out of the box and feels professional for the price. Great value for anyone who needs precise measurements for DIY or technical work.

Really good quality calipers. I'm very impressed. Comes with a battery inside and two new ones. I highly recommend it.

These are fantastic quality. I’ve had some others in the past. But these are accurate and more dependable. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.

For the price I wasn’t expecting anything anywhere Starrett or Mitutoyo quality, but I would expect something to actually be usable! The slide is a very loose fit, you can get almost 1mm of play at the end of the jaws. The reading isn’t stable most of the time. It doesn’t reliably return to zero, and the measurement randomly jumps several mm…

Très bien, excellente qualité, très agréable à utiliser.

Super pied à coulisse, entièrement en métal, ce qui lui donne un vrai ressenti de qualité dès la prise en main. La finition est propre, les glissières sont fluides et la précision est au rendez-vous (je l’ai comparé avec des pièces calibrées, aucun souci). L’écran est clair, la conversion mm/inch fonctionne très bien, et la remise à zéro est rapide. Idéal pour mesurer des pièces imprimées en 3D, du petit outillage ou pour l’atelier en général. Fourni avec une boîte de rangement rigide et une pile de rechange. Rien à redire pour le prix, c’est un excellent outil que je recommande sans hésiter.

I always used cheap calipers that cost 15-20 euros and all had the same problems: they don't return to zero, so you have to zero it every time you take a measurement, they eat up the battery very quickly and they die after one year or so. I wanted something better and I came across the Kynup that had good reviews and I liked the large display. When I received it and opened the box I was pleasantly surprised - this calipers is heavy and build very well. It uses CR2032 batteries, so it should last for a long time. The machining on the jaws are perfect and you can't see any light shines through the Jaws when they are closed. The micro adjust wheel is very stiff and allow very small changes, unlike the cheap ones. The display is large and clear and has 1/100 of a millimeter resolution, and best of all - it always return to zero!

Fazit: Für den Hobbybereich und speziell für 3D-Druck-Projekte ein absolut brauchbares und präzises Werkzeug. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt.
