Neem has a potent, unmistakable smell. I have mixed the liquid Neem for gardens through the years to combat fungus gnats in my potted plants. Recognizing the benefits of Neem, I chose to try the cream.The smell is tolerable. The mixture solidifies, but I scrape a bit with my fingernail and rub it into my face. The odor is temporary and does not linger.I had keratosis brown/crusty raised spots on the side of my face. I tried castor oil and countless other remedies. I was planning to have a dermatologist freeze them off.When the Neem arrived, I scraped some out and applied it/rubbing in a circle to the keratosis brown spots. To my surprise, after a week of circular scrubbing, the large crusty spot disappeared. The Neem scrubbed the brown crust off a little at a time. The more time I put into a circular motion, the more crust broke off the spot.I am absolutely thrilled. Neem also has anti-parasitic properties.My facial skin looks fantastic. Since using the cream on the spots, I have massaged Neem into my skin. The results are impressive.Remember: the benefits far outweigh the temporary smell. A small amount scraped out turns into liquid immediately. Although the cream is solid, a little patience and acceptance of the potent smell are well worth the excellent benefits.I wasn’t paid for this review; I purchased the Neem myself. The cream saved me a fortune, and I am incredibly grateful.

I’ve never used this type of moisturizer/anti-itch before. I have a chronic health condition which flares up frequently and leaves me a bit dehydrated. The itching is intense and can last for weeks. This product is natural, which is always a good thing. The product in the jar is more or less solid; it’s easy to use if scooped up by something as ordinary as one of larger spoons from my regular flatware. I use this product at least once a day and the annoying itch fades away in just a few days. The moisturizer feels luxurious on my sensitive skin. A little goes a long way, which makes this product an excellent value for the money.

Wanted to write this review for anyone who's dealing with not only the physically awful, but the mentally painful ordeal of scabies. I think it really is helping my skin heal and purge from it - I ordered this product and waited a week for it to arrive, and used it a day before my second permethrin cream treatment - my skin had cleared up significantly after the first round, but as days passed I started to get irritated red patches and bites popping up again (I hear scabies nowadays are resistant to insecticides). This neem butter calmed my skin down a ton the day before my second petmethrin treatment, and I have since used it every day after a morning shower (so far, that's been 6 days) along with some essential oils (tea tree and clove) for some added mite-killing power bc I'm not messing around. I have noticed that huge patches of red irritated skin and wounds from scratching have nearly completely healed up already with this butter and I am mega impressed. I woke up this morning and looked at my skin and felt like ok we are on a really good track here! You just have to be diligent w/application. I would recommend adding an essential oil to this butter speed up the mite-killing process, but the butter itself has majorly healed many of my scabies rashes/bites.The cons of this butter are it's very greasy, and does not absorb that fast into the skin, however I *have* been slathering it on so it could be user error. And the neem leaves in the butter are way too coarsely ground and can actually feel like mites when they move around on your skin. Perhaps this was for an exfoliating effect but I end up getting little neem-leaf clusters in the ridges all around my body. But this doesn't bother me too much right now because I'm working from home and this stuff is defintely helping my scabies. Also I joke that I have the nose of a bloodhound and the smell of this butter does not bother me, especially after adding a drop of essential oil to it. Good luck to you!

Great for dry skin, itchy skin, flaking, and irritated skin. IT DOES NOT STINK! (unlike other NEEM seed oil products! Also, unlike a balm, salve, ointment, or most skin lotions and creams, this Neem Butter won't feel greasy or oily on your skin! It simply melts in, and sets. NEEM (seed) oil heals much quicker than anything else I can think of. It has multiple uses. And this product isn't outrageously expensive, either. Have some on hand. You'll be glad you did! I LOVE it!
