I cannot count all of the chemicals I used to have under my tank until I got this. NOw you open up my cabinet and there is a test kit and this. Every few weeks I do a water change on my 55 gallon. I add a little bit to each one gallon jug of water I put in. I stir it with a whisk to help dissolve it in and add the water. It adjusts the ph as needed. No more fussing with test kits and trying to guess at dosing the tank up or down. This does the trick either way. Granted we have pretty good tap water, some of the best around our area so I cannot say how it would work if you had serious hard water problems or lots of chlorine but with us...well it just works and I cant beat the price on Amazon. I have paid up to 10 dollars more for this exact same bottle at our LPS.

I've been using this product for a few years now for soft water fish that prefer a neutral pH. I have never had an issue with cloudiness because I start with RO/DI water which I then remineralize with Equilibrium or Replenish and then buffer to pH of 6.8-7 with Neutral Regulator. All of my tanks are heavily planted and i have never had a problem with algae. An imbalance of light and excess nutrients will cause algae problems not phosphate. I only add Neutral Regulator with my weekly water changes although you can add small amounts daily to raise or lower your pH. If you have extremely hard water with a high kH, try lowering your gH and kH first by mixing RO/DI water with your tap water before trying Neutral Regulator. Cloudiness is caused by calcium precipitating out of your tap water. Phosphate buffers have been used for many years in freshwater aquariums and are nontoxic and safe for fish.

Use at every cleaning! This stuff is pure magic, been using it for years it replaces all the other garbage I used to use. This is the ONLY thing I use when cleaning my tank. It really does it all. And it lasts so much longer than the bottled junk you get at the store!

Very effective

I was having great difficulty maintaining the Ph level in my aquariums. I had tried frequent water changes, putting shells in them, and other pieces of advice you find on the internet. Nothing worked. It was around 6 to not measurable by the test. Then someone at my LFS said to use this, and it fixed everything! I was hesitant because I don't like to use chemicals in my tanks other than Stress Coat to dechlorinate during water changes. I have not had an issue with ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates since I started using this, and the Ph levels are rock solid. I tried to fix the other chemical levels for about a year, but they straightened out after I leveled the Ph. I actually use less than the directions call for and test weekly to maintain it, but I never put any in except at water changes. I let it disolve in a cup while I am doing the water change. Otherwise particles will float around the aquarium until they dissolve. Some users complain about the phosphorus causing algae growth, but I love plecos so this is never a problem for me and I can't really say if it does!

Great product.. came on time

I have used this product sparingly in the past, however I recently noticed some of my fish became extremely lethargic, hiding and not coming out for days. I tested the water and it came out hard and high in nitrates. I had this product on hand and decided to try it. Within 5 minutes the fish were out and swimming like there was nothing wrong. This has happened several times and the same outcome - within 5 minutes they were out and lively again. I have bought this several times and will continue to have it on hand - definitely suggest getting this product.

der Ph wert bleibt stabil aber die Phosphat werte steigen durch die decke, weswegen eine eisen Düngung kaum möglich ist, wen man keine pflanzen düngt könnte es nützlich sein, bei mir kommt es in die tonne
