Having decided to go grey disgracefully, I reached for the bleach, added a handful of highlights, and went in with the silver box dye to blend in with my ever greying streaks... Which was great until I washed it and the ash turned a trashy yellow. I tried toners but they didn't give me the wow factor. And I tried purple shampoo by the handful. But I was always left disappointed. I didn't want to dye my hair once a week and so, after much research, I decided to give this hair mask a go. First impressions - the smell is amazing. The mask is thick in consistency, but goes on well. Do wear gloves - I didn't and lived with blue nails for a few days. I left it on for 12 minutes and the difference was noticeable. My hair was super soft and definitely more silver, but not quite what I wanted. I waited until my next wash day and tried again, leaving it on for 15 minutes and wow, it's gorgeous! I mean actually ashes grey gorgeous. My hair feels healthier than it has in forever and the colour is better than the initial hair dye. I will be using this on every other wash to maintain the cool colour which incidentally matches my au natural silvers!

This toning mask is absolutely brilliant!! I will never buy another product to tone my hair at home. I had a bit of a beaching disaster, I have naturally dark brown hair and tried to touch up my highlights at home. Big mistake, my hair wet a horrendous yellow colour. I panic bought this mask as well as some blue toning shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner made the colour worse. THANK GOD for this mask, unfortunately I did not take a before photo but as you can see my hair is now a lovely ashy blonde colour which is the colour I wanted. I first tried the mask for 10 minutes this didn't do much. I used the mask again for a full 20 minutes and all of the brassiness disappeared, I was left with this lovely blonde colour. I noticed yesterday that my hair was looking slightly brassy again, so I applied the mask again for 25 minutes, and like magic my lovely ashy blonde colour returned, no brassiness in sight. If you have very light blonde hair be careful as this product will turn the hair grey after so long, I have a few lighter strands of hair that almost went grey. However if you have naturally dark hair that has been bleached a dark blonde, I suggest going for 20/25 minutes if your looking a bit brassy. The only con is that this mask is extremely drying, so use plenty of moisturising product afterwards. Aside from that this is a life saver!

I have dyed my own hair for years and it got darker and my roots were coming thro every 5 weeks and then I'd have to dye them so I thought enough I'm going my natural grey.i stuck the roots no lie a mnth and couldn't hack it I felt horrible.so I decided to strip it and I very carefully did keeping it in good condition too but I was left with a or angry yellow blonde.i was determined not to dye again platinum and then I saw this product and I thought right let's give it a go and I want platinum to blend in with my natural grey .I left it on full 20 mins but was checking as it's a shocking purple and was a little nervous I washed it off hair felt lovely and dried it and WOW absolutely brilliant stuff a game changer my grey blends in and even the grey is a nicer clean colour and the yucki colour has gone.i use a little bit now about 1 to 2 times a week and will also look forward to sampling their shampoos and conditioners and I don't review unless I find something worth telling about and I'll review all I buy in this range and I'll defo be buying regularly it's not cheap but like they say your worth it .The photo doesn't do justice to the colour it is it's much nicer .

This stuff is very effective at removing brassiness from dyed blonde hair. I've tried loads of different kinds of purple and blue shampoos and masks and this is the best I've found. Easy to use, although messy! Just smear it onto your hair and rinse off after a few minutes. I've bought this a couple of times and will be buying again in the future. Quite expensive, hence the 4 stars.

Spot on. I decided to get a Peekaboo style with silvery platinum under my hair and I knew full well keeping it a cool silver would be impossible after about 5 washes post salon. It would inevitably start turning brassy. Brass be gone! This stuff is a miracle. It keeps my hair a lovely silvery plat. Doesn't matter if you get it on your skin, it wipes off easily and doesn't stain too much (hands maybe, use gloves though). I've used it a few times before leaving a review but overall I'm so happy with it. It's so easy to wash my hair, pop this on and the finish washing after leaving it in. It also smells luuuush. Honestly I absolutely love the smell, it's so nice. I can't wait to go back to the salon to have the top half dyed light brown and have them shook'th that my bleached parts haven't turned brass. Plus, if you leave it in too long and find a hint of lavender colour in your hair, just do another shampoo and bosh, it's gone down a notch. But I don't mind overdoing it and having the lavender tint. Also leaves my hair feeling super soft afterwards. I combine it with a Touch of Silver conditioner for extra softness and because the scent is super similar. Note, as others have said if you have dark blonde it will not do anything to it. My top half is dark blonde and I did a tester and it changed nada. But it does say that on the tub so yeah.

Oh my goodness! I am naturally dark blonde but my hair has always been a mix of lots of shades from very dark blonde/mousey brown underneath to very light blonde on top - especially during the summer. It is very long (bum length) and I am just post menopause so it is drier than it has ever been. I have quite a few grey/white hairs at my temples but I don't mind them at all. What bothers me is the contrasting mousey roots so I have been dying my hair blonde for many years. Inevitably, my hair ends up "yellow" in places and my search for a realistic ashy blonde was relentless (and fruitless). I bought this treatment on a bit of a whim and plucked up the courage to use it today. I was in the shower and washed my hair - then towelled it lightly (still in shower) and applied the mask. I didn't/couldn't time it but just took a punt and left it on for the amount of time it took me to wash and shave all my relevant other bits :) Then rinsed it off. I (necessarily) spend a lot of money on "expensive" conditioner for my hair and can honestly say, hand on heart, that my hair feels as soft and conditioned after this mask as it ever has! Even rinsing, I could tell it was conditioned really well. Once dried, it is as soft as I've ever known it. And the colour? Perfect! I am absolutely delighted! It has definitely taken the brassy tones out and the blonde now blends much better with my greys - and even the darker roots and under layers. I couldn't be happier. REVISED: all of the above still stands but I’ve washed my hair today and it has gone back to exactly how it was before! So, in order to maintain this, I’d need to apply it for every wash which works out way too expensive for me.

I deliberated buying this mask, but then took the plunge because of all the positive reviews. My hair is medium length, straight and fine but lots if it. It was looking great until a disastrous colour a year ago. I went from red to brown then back to bleached blonde, which is brassy and proving hard to eradicate!! I’ve had rose gold highlights earlier this year - looked great for a week and then diminished to brassy blonde! Through the height of the lockdown (March - July) I grew my natural mid brown roots to a natural balayage and then returned to my hairdresser to have ash/ grey blonde highlights through the mid sections. Again, looked great for a couple of weeks until the return on the brassy yellow tones!! So, thought I would try this mask as returning again to the hairdressers is expensive and no fun anymore. I did a patch test as instructed- a little bit daunting at first as the product is very thick and very purple!! - all seemed ok, so I went for it and did the whole head and left for 5 minutes. I wish I had taken a photo- I am so pleased with the finished result, I really do look like I have had a professional colour- the highlights look the same as when the hairdresser did it a month a go - I now have cool ash highlights - really pleased! Will monitor to see how often I need to apply, but there is plenty of product so should last at least three months even if I apply once a week - if you want to eliminate brassy highlights or perk up your greys - I can recommend this product

This mask is fantastic! After bleaching my hair from brown to try and achieve an ash blonde colour I was left with a brassy/orange mid section. I wasn’t keen on the idea of putting yet another bleach on my hair so decided to give this a go. I was optimistic at first. The first try, I washed my hair and towel dried till it was just damp, I then applied a generous amount of the mask and left it for around 10/15 minutes before washing. Whilst I did see a slight difference it wasn’t anything that blew me away and nothing that I couldn’t achieve with a much cheaper purple shampoo. The second time round I decided to put the mask on my hair dry, I left it for half an hour, a terrifying half hour as I was nervous that my hair would turn blue completely, but IT DIDNT!! After washing the mask off my hair I was actually blown away. I now have no brassy tones in my hair and the condition of it is fantastic! I would highly recommended this product, even just as an after bleach treatment to make your hair soft and silky again! I think if your going to give the product a go it’s best on dry hair, for a minimum of 30 minutes.

This is my second time purchasing this product. I have naturally brown here which I dye blonde professionally. However, my hair tends to naturally turn a very golden or yellow hue in a short time (Even if I use purple shampoo fairly regularly). This product is like a deep clean of purple shampoo. It's softens, and it helps keep my hair looking bright or closer to a platinum rather than golden blonde. It comes with gloves which are recommended to use as the purple pigment does temporarily stain your hands. I have not had a problem washing that color off my hands, but some may. It has a pleasant, subtle smell that doesn't overpower. It's also very nice touch that the bottle itself is made out of recycled plastic. One jar last may about to to 3 months. As I only use it every other week.s. That's all I need to use it for to maintain the results I want. Using it too often can leave my hair a more gray/dingy color (common with all purple pigment hair products). When I use it as a conditioner, it helps with detangling my dry and thick hair. Erst ein mal muss ich sagen, dass ich schon sehr hin und her gerissen war, mich aber am Ende dazu entschieden hab das Produkt zu testen. Und ich muss gestehen ich bin eigentlich total begeistert! Das Produkt funktioniert im Großen und Ganzen echt gut WENN die Haare eine gute Ausgangsbasis haben, was bei mir leider nicht zu 100% der Fall ist (das wusste ich aber vorher). Ich hab mal mehrere Bilder angefügt um zu zeigen, was ich meine. Die ersten beiden Bilder zeigen die Ausgangsfarbe (im nassen Zustand, hab vergessen vorher ein Bild zu machen🙈) Nach dem auftragen hab ich dann kurz gedacht wenn das schief geht...herzlichen Glückwunsch 😂 Was man auf dem 3. und 4.Bild ganz gut sieht ist, das schon einiges des Gelbstichs verschwunden ist. Allerdings sieht man auf dem 4. Bild auch, dass auch ich das Problem habe das sich ein Teil schon Richtung lila verfärbt hat. Hierzu muss ich aber anmerken, dass genau der Bereich der sich verfäbt hat schon sehr geschädigt war durch die blondierung und die Haare hier auch immer sehr viel Feuchtigkeit aufsaugen und extrem lange brauchen zum trocken. Ich hab also schon damit gerechnet das genau das passieren könnte. Auf dem letzten Bild erkennt man aber ganz gut, dass der lilaton im trocken Zustand nicht wirklich auffällt . Und was man dem Produkt auch noch zu gute halten muss, die Haare fühlen sich danach tatsächlich sehr weich an und sie ließen sich super kämmen. Außerdem ist der Geruch auch sehr angenehm und überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Ich werd’s definitiv weiter benutzen und kann‘s auch ohne bedenken weiterempfehlen. Einwirkzeit waren so ca. 9min.

Premetto che ho usato solo la maschera senza alcuno shampoo antigiallo, su capelli biondo scuro con meches bionde di varie gradazioni. Le parti decolorate avevano assunto un tono giallastro e arancione, quindi ho deciso di acquistare questo prodotto. Dopo lo shampoo, su capelli tamponati, ne ho usato davvero poco di prodotto rispetto alla quantità di capelli e alla lunghezza. Si applica bene anche solo con le dita, senza pettinare, distribuendosi uniformemente. Non ha lasciato macchie o chiazze in testa o sulla pelle, ma consiglio vivamente l'uso dei guanti e di un asciugamano per salvaguardare unghie e vestiti. Ho tenuto l'impacco per 15-20 min con pellicola (so di avere un capello poco poroso e che non assorbe bene i prodotti, quindi per me 5 minuti di posa sono inutili) e il risultato è stato incredibile già dalla prima applicazione. Capelli morbidissimi e di una splendida tonalità cenere, tendente al biondo freddo e platino sulle parti più decolorate. Addirittura, la mia ricrescita naturale ha assunto degli splendidi riflessi cenere scuro, levando quell'alone di miele e oro dai capelli che proprio non mi è mai piaciuto. Inoltre, questa maschera non mi ha affatto lasciato i capelli secchi, anzi! Devo dire però che, nel mio caso, il giorno prima avevo fatto un impacco di olio di mandorla e olio di cocco su tutta la lunghezza in modo da idratare bene prima di provarlo (impacco da tenere tutta la notte, per poi procedere al lavaggio la mattina seguente, con annessa questa maschera). Consiglio di fare questo impacco a chi ha i capelli secchi, insistendo soprattutto sulle punte, in modo da ridurne la porosità ed evitare di ritrovarsi con la parte finale delle lunghezze grige o addirittura viola. In tal modo otterrete senza dubbio un colore più omogeneo. Per concludere, prodotto VALIDISSIMO e che sicuramente riacquisterò!
