Excellent quality
Excellent quality torch., it’s so bright! Got this as it was recommended as the best torch for reasonable money. It really is top notch. Ideal for home as an emergency torch and the red / clear covers would be great for use in a car or camping as they flood the room with light. The clip looks strong and I’ll test that over the coming weeks out and about. I’ll leave more feedback. The charge function is another reason I bought it as I’ll use it often and didn’t want to be buying batteries every few weeks.

Bright, powerful, compact rechargeable torch, allowing standard AA batteries if required
The media could not be loaded. This review is for a small LED torch, branded ACEBEAM, and £29.99 as reviewed.Included in the package are the torch itself, a proprietary rechargeable battery, a (very short) USB-A to USB-C, a wrist strap, 2 diffuser caps in white and red, and an instruction booklet. The torch is small and compact, around 6" long and less than an inch in diameter (excluding clips and strap. The body is aluminium, and both the lens and the power button are recessed, thus mostly protected. There are o-ring seals at both ends to assist with reducing water ingress. 2 spare o rings and a spare rubber cover for the main switch are supplied. The battery is not like any battery I've seen before, essentially the size of 2 AA batteries, and with a USB-C sockets near the top, along with an indicator. Sadly, this means you have to take the torch apart every time you charge it, which is a shame as that is exposing the inside too often, and potentially damaging the seals. The torch allows 2 AA batteries to be used for when you need power and have no charging options available.Included are 2 silicone caps, one white, one red, which diffuse the light, making it more of a beacon that a spotlight, and they are surprisingly effective. Trouble is, they aren't attached to the torch, so you need to remember to carry them with you.In use, in its default mode, it is really bright and penetrates the darkness well. The lens does get very hot, though, so don't touch it!

Very good torch for the money
Here’s a consolidated review based on the four reviews you provided for the Tactical Dual Modes Torch:---The ACEBEAM tactical torch is an impressive piece of equipment that combines compact design with powerful performance. With a maximum brightness of 1600 lumens, this rechargeable torch is perfect for a variety of situations, whether you're camping, in need of emergency lighting, or simply illuminating your home. The build quality stands out; it feels solid and durable, capable of withstanding regular use. It arrives neatly packaged with a rechargeable battery, USB-C charging cable, wrist lanyard, and two silicone diffusers—one white and one orange. These diffusers enhance the torch’s functionality, providing a soft, warm light for indoor use or a bright signal for emergency situations.Using the torch is intuitive, with a responsive thumb-click button on the tail for easy on/off operation and a smaller side button for adjusting brightness levels and accessing various modes, including strobe. The ability to swap the rechargeable battery for standard AA batteries adds to its versatility, ensuring you’re never left in the dark. While the torch does get warm after extended use—indicated by a helpful "hot" label—this minor issue doesn't detract from its overall performance. Lightweight and compact, it fits comfortably in your pocket or can be clipped to your gear.Overall, the ACEBEAM tactical torch is a reliable, well-designed tool that offers excellent value for both casual and serious users alike. Whether for emergencies or outdoor adventures, this torch is sure to impress.

First class torch
A very impressive yet compact torch that delivers an amazing 1600 lumens. It's appropriate for a multitude of uses, from simple camping trips to use by people in emergencies or just for everyday use around the house. For such a small torch, it gives off an incredibly bright light. It's rechargeable, which is good, as it means you don't have to worry about carry lots of spare batteries with you. Simply unscrew the end, take out the long and slim battery, and plug the battery in using USB-C. I think you can also use it with AA batteries, although I've not tried that. It's lightweight and slim, making it easy to take with you either in a trouser pocket or, using the clip, you can put it onto a belt, inside a jacket, or hang it from a rucksack. It's water-resistant up to IP68 rating, and it seems very tough, so I suspect it will last a long time and be able to take some serious rough and tumble. One thing that it came with that I'd never used before and was quite surprised at how effective they were, were the two diffusers. These are simply rubber caps that go onto the front of the torch. Just looking at them, they seemed unnecessary or superfluous; however, upon putting them onto the torch, I was amazed at how much light they gave off. Indeed, so much so that just using this single torch and one of the diffusers, it was possible to light up a whole large room enough to move about without any problems at all. There are two diffusers: one is white and gives off a bright white light, while the other is a reddy-orange colour and would be perfect for emergency use and attracting attention. As torches go, it's not particularly cheap; however, I think it offers excellent value for money as the build quality and functionality of the torch makes it ideal for so many different purposes. I suspect it's something we'll have around for many years to come.
