Premium features at budget price
⭐️ Lava Agni 3 5G – Great Value for Money! (After 1 Week of Use) I've been using the Lava Agni 3 5G for a week now, and it's exceeded my expectations. Pros: Battery: 5000mAh battery easily lasts two days with regular use. Display: Curved-edge AMOLED is colorful and smooth (120Hz). Rear AMOLED screen is unique and useful—my kid loved the dog animation! Performance: Smooth experience with stock Android and good day-to-day performance. No heating issues. Build & Audio: Solid build with water/dust resistance. Dolby Atmos sounds great. Camera (Daylight): Good photos in outdoor lighting; rear screen makes rear camera selfies easier. Cons: Camera struggles in low light and indoor shots; front camera is average. Included phone case is slightly loose. Some noise and crosstalk on speaker calls. Verdict: A stylish, feature-rich phone that offers great performance and battery life. A few minor issues, but overall, a solid choice for everyday users. Great job by Lava! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

Unique Design, Smooth Performance and Excellent Features
I recently purchased this phone and I’m very happy with it. The performance is amazing and the battery backup is really good. I’m not a gamer, but for regular use it works flawlessly. The design looks unique and stylish. The camera quality is very good, especially in sunlight and night mode. However, when zooming in, pictures do get a bit blurry. The Magic Eraser feature is really impressive and useful. The display is truly the heart of this phone — the AMOLED screen is stunning, and even the backside display adds to the overall premium feel. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this phone. Great value for money!

My Honest Review of Lava Agni 3
Thanks and congratulations to the Lava team for putting genuine effort into offering a feature-packed phone in the budget segment. At around ₹16,000, there are a lot of options in the market, each with their own pros and cons. What drew me to the Agni 3 was its design and specs on this budget segment. I picked the white variant, and it really gives off a premium vibe, quite similar to phones in the ₹40,000 range. The overall hardware seemed promising too, including the camera sensor, mini display, battery, and the action key. Design-wise, the phone is truly impressive. It instantly gives you the feel of a premium device. However, I really wish it came with a flat display instead of the curved one. It's not just my personal opinion – over 70% of Indian users don't prefer curved displays. Hopefully, Lava takes note of that for future models. Now coming to the display quality – it's actually quite good. Daytime visibility is solid, but the auto-brightness could use some improvement as it responds to lighting changes with a noticeable delay. I’ve used Poco X series, Xiaomi, iPhones, and Oppo devices that really have great amoled display quality, and I noticed something odd with the Agni 3. There’s an unusual oversharpness in hair details and the skin tones look unnatural. This isn’t just in photos – it reflects in videos and other media content as well. Lava, please consider removing the over-sharpening in a future software update and restore the display settings to a more natural default. On to the software experience. I appreciate the clean Android interface, but it could really use a bit more customization. There’s no option to change the font and the dark mode looks quite cheap. It would be great to have some theme options to make the experience more personal. Now, talking about the camera – this part doesn't look up to the mark due to poor optimization maybe. I expected a lot from it, especially with a Sony IMX766 sensor. Sometimes photos lack detail despite the 50MP specs, and they appear overly processed. Sometimes skin tones look off and unnatural, and the sharpness is inconsistent throughout. It feels like the camera isn't optimized well with the MediaTek processor. From what I’ve experienced, Sony sensors perform best with Snapdragon chips due to better ISP optimization. I really hope Lava improves the image processing through a software update soon. As for performance, I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very smooth, and I haven’t experienced any lag yet. It genuinely feels like a high-end smartphone while using apps. Thanks to the stock Android, there aren’t many background processes eating up resources, which also helps with battery life. And yes, the battery backup has really impressed me. It easily lasts a full day and beyond. One thing that bothered me though – for a phone priced at ₹17,000, not including a charger feels unfair. Customers naturally expect a charger in the box at this price point. To sum it up, Lava Agni 3 nails the design, performance, and battery. But it seriously needs improvement in display tuning, camera optimization, and some basic software features. If these are fixed, it could be a game-changer in this segment.

A promising device failed due to lack of focus on software quality.
I bought agni3 on sept 25th frm amzn. I was impressed with the device and no bloatware OS.The device comes with android 14. The design is eye catching. The display is very good. secondary display doesn't serve any practical purpose except while taking selfies from rear camera. The audio is loud and clear enough. The downside is lack of any kind of protection for display. Lava doesn't specify what kind of glass is used on display. Don't know the rear panel is glass or plastic. The battery backup for my usage is 2 days. The camera is not impressive. Takes good picture in bright environments but suffers in low light conditions. All the images taken have a pale yellowish tinge and the colours are not punchy. The OIS is only namesake there is no setting to enable\disable it. Although you see the option for EIS. can 4k video can be captured only at 30fps rate. Cameras are not impressive. The device feels heavy cannot hold for long talks. It was all gud until the android 15 upgrade was released. After upgrade the ear piece volume was reduced to 50% and it was difficult the hear the other person during calls. Specially outdoors. Logged a case on agni mitra. Told them this is a software bug, but they didn't believe me and said they will check the device for h/w failure and replace with new one if found faulty and scheduled home pickup. In the first attempt the service centre guy called me and asked to drop in to the store as they do not have enough staff to collect the device from my home. Since i had to travel out of city i cancelled the request and raised a new one after return. This time I got a call from the manager named Satya. He came home and collected the device. After checks i was told the device will be replaced with a new one. It took a week for them to replace the device as the replacement devices are not the same as they sell(to me it seems they are refurbished in factory.) Finally when my replacement device arrived from Noida, again i was asked to collect personally as they don't have enough staff for home delivery(I live in Bengaluru and they don't have enough staff). I called Satya again, he assured me that he will personally deliver the device to me the very next day. As assured, he came home to hand over my device. The device was in a sealed box that said replacement device. He opened the seal in front of me and handed the device but didn't give me the box and he told me its new. It looked brand new without any scratches. But I'm still not convinced because the device i bought was manufactured in July 2025 and had march security updates installed. On the other hand the replacement was manufactured in oct 2024 with sept 2024 security update and with A14. This makes me believe this is refurbished. Anyways i didn't have any other option than to accept it. The earpiece volume was normal with A14. The device showed a new upgrade. With a hope that this will not cause any issue i upgraded to A15. After upgrade the ear piece volume is down to 50% again. So this is a bug in their A15 release which Lava is not accepting. I am just waiting for the next update hoping that this bug is debugged and the volume restored to normal levels. I have no intention of contacting LAVA as they might give me another refurbished device. So supporting home grown brand has consequences. LAVA should also focus on software and release monthly patches instead of quarterly. They have the potential to compete with Chinese brands and create their own space in the market provided they focus a tad bit more on quality of the hardware and software. They should also create a forum for Lave users to report the bugs and issues in the software. This will also build a trust among its users and they will recommend lava to their friends and family I appreciate Mr. Satya for his customer centric approach.

Best Stock Android Experience. But.. No Android 15 Yet
If you want Best Clean Android Experience then this might be your go to product. But even after so many months passed by and No Android 15 available yet for this Flagship device by Lava Mobiles. 1. The camera has focus issues by default and Lava has not fixed it yet with so many security updates since it launched (20th Dec 2024). 2. Back mini display has no proximity sensor access for accidental display touch in pocket. 3. Battery life is amazing. I bought the device without charger and had hard time buying a perfect GaN charger. I bought ambrane 67w charger for this and it works. There default 66w charger was out of stock when i bought it and they often go out of stock. So better get a pack with charger included. 4. On launch date they promised for 3 major OS upgrades and 4 yrs of Security Updates. But no Android 15 stable upgrade yet (May 2025). I will update my review later when i get Android 15 OS Update for Lava Agni 3 5G.
