Excellent, affordable exercise bike
This bike is quiet (making it easy to watch TV or listen to music) and is very easy to use. It doesn’t take up much space so I could have it in the bedroom to do prehab and rehab following hip replacement surgery. It was reasonably easy to assemble assuming one can use simple tools. One potential shortcoming if you are tall: I am 6’1” and about as tall as can be accommodated on the bike assuming that you want to extend your legs maximally.

I Love It!
It was time. It was just time. I'm over 50 now and made it out alive thru my 2-year stint with menopause. Tiredness, unpatterned sleep cycles, weight gain, and overall mental fog has released its hold on my life and I finally have the energy to do something about it. Just three 15-20 minute workouts in and I'm already bouncing off the walls with energy. My sleep patterns are nearly back to normal. I don't feel like snacking, I just feel like doing stuff now. I'm actually *excited* for my next workout. Thank you, Merach & Amazon for making this happen! I am new to indoor cycling, but I absolutely LOVE THIS BIKE! The ride is so smooth, so QUIET and so easy to enjoy. I love the app too! I'm thrilled that I can sync up the bike with my phone and log in all my ride stats so easily! It definitely motivates me for my next ride. The routines are good too. I enjoy the guided rides, but because I'm a beginner, (and because I like my own music) I do like to just set the duration and ride while I build up my strength. Did you see that Merach even gives you a 180-day free membership to all the bells and whistles that the app offers? I'll be redeeming that once I get thru my introductory/beginner phase in a couple weeks. While I appreciate the pristine condition that the bike arrived in, getting this thing out of the box was the most difficult part! My bad - I shooed away my husband before getting it out of the box because I wanted to see if I could get it together by myself! Anyway, I finally had to just destroy the box to get it out. But I'm not complaining! Like I said, the bike came in perfect condition, nary a scratch on her. After about an hour of assembly, (the tools are included) I followed the directions that were straight forward in the manual and was on the bike amazed at how smooth the ride was. The bike is STRONG! There is no wobbling, no handlebar movement, no seat movement when all the locks are tightened down. I DID read the comments before buying and was forewarned about the seat discomfort, so I bought a gel seat cover and have had no problems. I had zero trouble adjusting the seat and handlebars to my height and I'm very comfortable riding it. All in all, I would have bought this bike even without the enticing deal I got thru Amazon Prime, which was like $100 bucks off the retail price, but the deal definitely pushed me past indecisiveness. I put the work in researching exercise bikes in this price range for beginners and this was the #1 pick of the bunch. And I learned something too! You don't need a heavy flywheel to do the kind of home workouts I'm looking to do. Those 30lb+ flywheels are for advanced riders and for those who are doing endurance training for competitions. And for an old girl like me, the Merach S26's 13lb. flywheel is probably better on my joints overall. Point being, at 50+ years old I don't see myself outgrowing this bike on my quest for better health. I HIGHLY recommend this bike to anyone ready to take control of their health and start a new exercise regime. This bike is THE BEST!

Mostly Great, Good Value
Very quiet bike! Easy set up ,mostly put together. Very compact and does the job. Not made for big screens, but that is cool. Electronics is just okay. You can use any program or app on your iPad, so their app is not necessary in some cases. You can use your Apple, Garmin, Withings, etc watch to track exercise. I’d say one small negative thing was the quality control. My screen holder bar and tray are off a bit. Looks a little wonky, but not too big of deal. That’s what a mass produced bike gets you sometimes. I use a binder clip to level out the tablet, but the plastic ledge and bar holding it is obviously off a bit. It’s bolted down, so it’s not something you can fix or bend. In the picture, it's hard to tell but it's noticeable when you have your tablet on it. No worries. At this price point, I’m okay with it. Not sure if it was a fluke with just this bike. I’m just glad the deformity was not in the flywheel or pedal system. All good! I have a bony bum, so the seat is not comfortable. I bought a cushon cover for it so I'm all set. Happy with the purchase!

Very pleased with this. No regrets at all.
I was a little nervous about buying this online but after I put it together I'm impressed. First of all if you're good with tools and you've done this stuff before it only takes about 30 minutes. It is solid and well built. I've done over a hundred thousand miles on top end road bikes and the bottom bracket, the part where the pedal arms attached is very smooth with no slop. Same for the pedals. It is very quiet. I haven't connected it to any other device but the display keeps you updated on your progress. The instruction manual could be improved, English is not the first language of whoever wrote it, but I don't ride that and also the online video could be better. All tools including a wire to pull the wire for the display through the tube are provided. The only thing I wish was different is the seat as others have mentioned. I've only ridden it once for 40 minutes but my butt is sore. I'm 5'8 and 170 lb just for reference. I can probably live with this seat but I just wish it was better. I'm 84 years old and my cardiologist wants me to do this 45 minutes a day everyday. It does provide a very good workout. Maybe I should mention that my hip pain from trochanteric bursitis was totally absent. Amending my review. This seat is unusable which is a shame because the machine is great. I also wish the handlebars were upright since wind resistance is not a factor and bending over is hard. Further Amendment. First of all their customer service is First Rate, you actually get a human who returns your emails. They sent me a new and better saddle which is an improvement I haven't gotten an opportunity to fully test it but things are getting better. I will reiterate that the machine itself is excellent and extremely quiet. Somebody sitting in a chair next to you would not know you were actually moving it.

Decent bike for the price
I’ve had the bike for a week or so. Bike is decent for the price. It’s super quiet that I can ride it at any time of day. I like that the package comes with tools that you need to assemble the bike. Assembling was quite simple. And the bike was well packaged. Reasons why I gave it 3 stars: The bikes does has a few issues. When biking, the part that holds the handles, cup holder, etc. and below kind of shakes even when tightened. It’s not a huge con but it is something I did notice. Another thing I have noticed is that I scoot the seat all the way forward since I am short. By the end of the cycle, I notice that the seat gets pushed back. I have tighten the knob quite tight so there should be no reason why it moves but may need to contact customer service about this issue. Also, the seat is slightly uncomfortable but customer service was nice to send out a new seat that should fix the solution but will not have this till the end of August because of out of stock. Lastly, the app. The app is not really user intuitive. Quite hard to use honestly. I probably won’t bother to use it. But the Bluetooth is a nice feature. I just wish that the app could be better so I can incorporate them into my cycle sessions. Although, it is nice to see that they have some classes you can do but I’d prob just stick with searching some on YouTube or something due to the user experience. UPDATE: 07/25/2025 I change my rating to 5/5 because of the customer service and solving all my issues with the bike. I contacted customer support about a few issues and Jessie responded to me with great service! We discussed over the very very slight wobble in the handlebars but after riding for a while.. I don’t even notice it anymore and by tightening the lever even tighter, it made it more sturdier. For the bike seat, they were willing to send me a brand new bike seat that should fix the issue along with a grip tape to avoid the seats position to stay in place free of charge (which I am truly grateful for). I hope this changes the comfortability when riding. Also, I shared my concerns about the app as it felt confusing for the users. They took that into consideration to improve their app with the development team and gave me alternatives to ride. And for being so kind, they also gave me a partial refund on the bike which I did not expect at all. This company truly cares about their product and wants to make it better unlike many other companies. I will definitely recommend Merach bike to anyone who is in search for it. I’ve been enjoying it so far and I can’t wait to make it even better with the new parts they are sending over.

The best stationary exercise bike to buy!
This is the best exercise bike I ever had. It is easy to install and just follow the instructions. All necessary tools are included and easy to move from place to place. The seat is comfortable and easy to adjust. The display is small and you can monitor your exercise easily without any problems. It’s so quiet when the wheel is spinning and I am glad that I made the right decision to buy this bike.

Provides a Great Work Out
Be prepared: there is a lot of assembly. My husband, who is really adept at multi-step instructionals and is very logical, still needed almost 2 hours to complete the build. If you do not feel confident with machine building, it may be worth your time to pay for someone to assemble it for you. That being said, this bike is excellent and very worth the money. Easy to use and the app function tracks progress with many data points. It is very quiet, as advertised, and great for a small one bedroom apartment. The workouts can be varied in many different ways and it works well for beginners (me) looking for an easy start as well as 'experts' who want to sweat buckets (my husband). The seat height is decently adjustable. At it's lowest setting, it works for me (5', short legs) and I believe the 2nd to the highest setting works for my husband (6'). In my opinion it paid for itself in the first 2 weeks.

Moderate bike, it’s “okay” not really good
Bike is “ok” but less than I expected. Seat is very uncomfortable!! Putting it together was not hard, and tightened everything FIRMLY , but it still feels a bit shaky to me. The display definitely needs improvement. It changes from one measurement to the next, but is it time? Distance? Speed? Should have used words!! Why does it have a dumbbell rack behind the seat? It’s a stationary bike! Aldo they should have English speakers review the instructions so that English readers will understand them. “Cheesehead” bolt???? Really?
