Good for black coffee drinkers.
I have diabetes and don’t do cream and sugar. I drink black coffee but it has to be pretty good since I don’t have cream and sugar taking all its faults away. That rules out most all instant coffee and I’ve tried a lot of them. Most are awful and none are as good as a cup of even just decent drip coffee. This one is pretty good though. I’ve tried it espresso strength and cup strength. Black it doesn’t really taste like espresso when brewed at that strength but it would work fine in a sugary milky drink, iced mocha or something. Even mixed at a very high ratio of water to coffee it’s not that strong tasting. It’s pretty inoffensive. I also tried Cafe Bustelo espresso recently and that stuff is offensive. Enough cream and sugar can make it okay but black it tastes like when you brew a pot of coffee, drink half of it and leave the rest on the warmer for a long time and come back and microwave a cup of that burnt nasty coffee in the afternoon. That’s what Cafe Bustelo instant espresso tastes like. It’s very offensive and it has this strong nutty taste to go along with the burnt taste I guess from all the Robusta beans in it. It’s not 100% Arabica like this one.I think I like the Starbucks instants better than this one but this coffee is in that league. The Starbucks instant coffees are pretty good. I always liked the Via packets okay but the price was offensive on those. The medium roast in the newer cans is pretty good black. I don’t hate it. I haven’t tried the Blonde or Dark yet but I have them. Those tins don’t seal well and I know from experience that the micro ground coffee in them will get stale over time especially once you open the package. The stuff in the cans is much cheaper than the Via packets but still kind of expensive. I don’t know that I will buy this Nescafé again because it’s imported and expensive, but it is cheaper than Starbucks instant when you compare the weight. They sell Starbucks at the store though. I do like the finer consistency of this Nescafé Gold Espresso powder. It’s easier to measure than the big airy clumps of freeze dried coffee that vary in size so much. It tastes pretty good too, for instant.

Delicious instant espresso
Delicious! I was skeptical of the instant espresso but am a forever fan now! My go to Starbucks drink is a brown sugar shaken espresso but not only do I love 25+ minutes away from the closest Starbucks, but I don’t love spending $7+ on a drink either. So what do I do? Find a dupe and this product is where it’s at! It blends beautifully and I get my fav drink in the comfort of my home while still in my pj’s. I would recommend this instant espresso a thousand times over!

Pretty great option for iced coffee
Very smooth for instant coffee, but for me it worked better with cream and ice like for an iced coffee. Maybe would not be my first choice for hot coffee, something about it was not working for me, for reference I prefer a smooth, nuttier blend with some sugar and a bit of cream. For cold coffee with some vanilla and some cream it was pretty tasty….but I did add more to make it stronger than what was suggested.

Very yummy!!
I just tried this instant espresso for the first time and it is sooo good. I made two different iced coffees with it and I went back and bought two more in case they run out!

Very smooth, surprisingly extra good tasting strong robust coffee. Fine powder
I always have instant coffee on hand. I use it in baking to amp up the taste of chocolate, or to add a special coffee flavor. I also drinking it willingly, lol. I make brewed coffee, pour over coffee, K-cups, and the occasional cold brew. And sometimes I just want instant coffee. It just hits the spot sometimes.. I had purchased this Nescafe Gold Espresso as I had just run out of my jar of regular Nescafe. I was looking for a dark roast option (which they have) but then saw the Espresso option. I was like.. hmm, I need to try this.Love it! The coffee is a super fine powder, this is going to be even better in baked goods than the usual chunks of instant coffee. I can use it to sprinkle on top of stuff too. The fine powder makes it dissolve instantly. Works well blended into cold drinks, too.As for a cup of coffee. OH YES. The directions say to use 1-2 tsp in 50 ml (1/3 cup) of water for a shot of espresso, or 1-2 tsp in 250 ml (1 cup) of water for an Americano. I tried 1 tsp in 50 ML and was impressed with the robust taste. Love the "crema" that forms on top. Lasts a short while then blends into cup.TASTE is surprisingly smooth with a hint of sweet. It is just coffee- nothing added to it. It is not only good for an instant but it is pretty dang good as a coffee, period. It is robust and strong without being bitter. Definitely try it out following the directions, then work from there. There is no way I could sip that much instant in such little water with any other brand. Even this brand. But something about this espresso blend just works. I will buy it again.Pictures are of just water poured onto coffee. Nothing added.

Flavor
The flavor is outstanding, it is so smooth and the flavor is wonderful. I've never had a instant coffee that is better than any ground coffee.
