Works very well. Very easy to apply. You will need to take a look at you tube to ensure each strip is going in right place as no instructions. Did arrived folded, but worked fine.

Used to repair a 21.5" iMac with a failing hard drive. Arrived quickly and were well packed. The adhesive appears every bit as strong as the Apple OEM. I was a little sceptical having seen the reviews and used similar strips of varying quality over the years, but these worked perfectly and, assuming you install them properly, the screen is not going anywhere. Assuming there isn't a bad batch of these floating around (unlikely), those who have had the screen fall off are either positioning the strips incorrectly, failing to remove the entirety of the adhesive covering, not cleaning the residue from the old strips appropriately or not pushing the screen hard enough around the edges once it's in position.

After using replacement iMac adhesive strips for a few years in my day to day work, I understand the importance in following the installation process accurately. Always making sure i'm cleaning the surfaces and working in dust free environments. Even so, this product although looking the part, is substandard and completely useless. Considering the original lasted years before being changed to replace the iMac hard drive and other products from iFixit i've used have never failed, makes me wonder about the integrity of this brand. It's a shame as the effort to make look-a-like products wastes everyones time.

Used this kit on a late 2013 iMac. Easy to install. Has held the screen in place perfectly. Ensure that all old adhesive is removed before adding the new!

As anyone with a iMac will know, upgrading the Ram and SSD is a scary and nerve-wracking process. Not least because you have to remove the screen. This adhesive tape kit had everything I needed to put it back together though, and the adhesion looks very good which is the critical thing.That said, a couple of the pieces were slightly too long, so I needed to trim them a bit. Not sure if that's a variance between the different iMac models (mine is a mid-2017), but not a big issue. Just thought I should mention it though.Two weeks later, the screen is still attached, and the iMac is zipping along nicely with it's new SSD and RAM upgrade.

Used this when replacing hard drive on my iMac for a SSD.Would have been much more difficult without the tailored shaping and pullaway strips that this gives.Material/manufacturing costs would have been very low..............but if you think you can save money by using ordinary double-sided tape - DON'T.Definitely worth the outlay for the custom shaping.

This kit is described on Amazon as being suitable for iMacs 2012-2017. It is not! It suitable for iMacs 2012-2015.Apple changed the location of the microphone in 2017. Using the kit will cover the microphone in the 2017 iMac.I only discovered this after reassembling my iMac following an upgrade of memory and storage upgrade and then discovering the microphone failure. A little research uncovered the issue.Furthermore, as this kit consists of double sided tape without the foam filling in the middle that Apple use, the screen cannot now be removed to address the problem. The removal tool I purchased for removing the screen relies on that foam filling being there.I am furious as I use my iMac for Zoom business meetings and now it is useless for that purpose!

Good fit and strong adhesive. Highly recommended. Been 2 months and still stuck solid. Make sure you thoroughly clean the area's where you re apply the tape. Champ !

Cheap, good quality, exactly for what was designed for.Keep in mind to not cover the Mic whole on the metal grame of iMac, otherwise you need to re-do it again :)That will cut more than 90% of your Mic volume and during conf calls people will no be able to hear you properly.

Preiswert, einfach und einfach gut: das Reparaturkit besteht aus sehr gut markierten Einzelteilen, die man sicher an der richtigen Stelle platzieren kann und (es ist ein Doppelklebeband!) und dann die Monitorscheibe wieder befestigen kann.Es geht fast einfacher als Schrauben! Also keine Scheu!

The strips last just about 2 weeks then the screen fell out... lucky no kid was on the computer at the time.Bad batch or bad quality? I don't know, but either way it ended up costing me a lot more than anticipated now that I have a shattered screen and damaged cables.Not happy.
