I love using this charger in my car. The magnetic holding works wonders. You can hit a bump and your phone stay put. You receive an extra ring for those cases that don't have the ring already. The extra ring attaches easily to the back of your phone case with ease, thanks to the template that is provided. Excellent if you don't want one that mounts to the dash that sticks up in your view of traffic! This one is perfect! The magnetic hold is great and it functions beautifully while traveling or just every day driving. And it holds up for a long, long time!

Purchased this as a replacement for a phone holder that broke. I finally get a chance to install it and the adhesive is not strong enough which causes the holder to pop back up. I wiped my dashboard off with the included wet wipe and dry wipe prior to installation and it will not stick. Hopefully this is just the case with mine and I would appreciate a replacement since I do really like the style of this holder. UPDATE: The seller immediately reached out to me and sent a replacement that I received in about 3 days. Installation was perfect and the holder sticks with no problem. Customer Service was excellent!!!

Initially I was frustrated because it appeared that this didn't work. I tried multiple USB chargers for my car, as well as chargers in my home the game that maybe there was a wattage issue. However, it wasn't until I switch to a charger that had USB-c capability that it started working. So ultimately, it was my own fault. The product did come with a charge noting that it did require an 18 watt charger, but from everything I could tell my charger did meet that requirement. It just apparently was lying or something. Anyhow, The product does work. It's magnet is not as strong as My other Meg safe charger but it's enough to get the job done. I do really like the curved mounting option since my van is definitely a curvy creature. I do find that it feels pretty cheap - the plastic is quite lightweight and it has kind of sharp edges that you get in a not super finished product. However, this doesn't seem to impact the usability; however if you are one of those people who really values things that "feel", expensive this might not be for you.

Magnet doesn't hold the thin steel ring on the phone case very well. I cut a new ring out of thicker steel and glued it to my phone case and it holds very well now. However, it won't charge my phone through the case.
