Quality is fine and water meter works. The only difference between these and the much more expensive models is that these do not have a channel that allows you to fill the reservoir without pouring water onto the top of the soil. This may be a problem for some plants that are sensitive to water on their leaves or that do not tolerate having wet feet.

Good pots but the gauges are inaccurate
The pots are great, but the self watering feature is a little iffy. My plants will have plenty of moisture remaining in the soil, but since the little gauge lets you know if there is water in the reservoir, it will tell me the pot is dry. Just beware so that you don't overwater by accident.

nice lightweight pots
I was looking for lightweight pots to put in hanging planters and this fits the bill perfectly! The one weird thing is the water level indicator takes some time to catch up as water drains through the soil. I'm never sure if I've completely drown the plant, so I just don't use it. Seems like it would be well suited for a fast-draining soil such as for orchids.
