These ear plugs cut down so much noise for me! They are just what I need. I couldn't tell you how many decibels, but I can't hear the crickets on our noise machine! It's amazing when I pull that first plug out and can hear what I would usually hear and the other one is extremely muted. So why silicone wax noise plugs for noise cancellation? I have incredibly small ears, so I can't do any earbuds that go in my ear canal because they hurt me. Also, I am a side sleeper so I need something that doesn't press on my ear when I'm sleeping. I thought I wanted a noise cancelling head set that went over my ear somehow, but I just couldn't find a good (or affordable) bluetooth or wireless solution, and I'm getting kind of cautious about devices that emit signals that go through my head anyway. Then I found these! You get to decide how they fit and they don't stick outside your ear, so there is no pressure from them when I'm sleeping on my side. I got a set of 3. each in separate small plastic boxes, making them highly portable and shareable. The only tiny downside I can say I've seen so far is that sometimes a hair or two will stick to it just a bit. Just pull it off, no pain. To start you just roll one in your fingers to warm it up then place it in your ear and press it in to cover your ear canal; just do not press it into the canal. They are so easy to work with. Just start over if it doesn't feel right. They do not hurt my ears at all and I really appreciate this product. I Highly Recommend these ear plugs!

Bought these for an international trip. Worked great for on the plane but also in the hotel with my husband snoring. Fit perfectly in the ear and are pretty comfortable

I use them to tone down the noise in Zumba class. They don't keep all the noise out but enough for my purposes.

Better than foam ear plugs for sleeping. I find that if you cut one wax ball in half, the two halves fit my ears perfect with no hurting when side sleeping. My downstairs neighbors are up all night and can be rowdy. These wax ear plugs cancel out all the noise. I'm definitely sleeping better and comfortably. Great value for the money. Will buy again!

These are BY FAR the most comfortable and EFFECTIVE ear plugs ive ever used or come across! I highly recommend these to anyone who has to deal with a roommate that just cant help but breath or snore like they're intentionally trying to kill their vocal cords! (Keep your ears clean, and they will last longer, if you dont use Q-tips, START) CHEERS!

As directed, it does help to warm the putty in your hands as it makes it more pliable :) It takes a few times to get the placement in your ear correct; don't aim for plugging the ear canal, but the whole area around the canal instead. Think of it as more of a cover rather than a plug. These dampen the overall sounds but I was hoping it would help more for silence at bedtime for me. My main concern/issue is that the substance is sticky (which helps it adhere to your ear's surface)..it grabs and tugs at my long hair. Yes, I can put my hair in a ponytail but can't sleep with it pulled back like that. The best I can do to limit that is to do a side braid away from the ear as much as possible but strands still get stuck in :( This will work for me during the day, only.

Works perfectly. Keeps 100% of water out of my ears when I shower or swim. Great product for the money.

This is a great travel pack, especially if needed for sleep. Also, it's great if you are at loud events. Over time, lots arenas affect your hearing. I really like this travel kit because it attaches to your key chain and you always have a pair of earplugs. I suggest leaving the rest of the pack in the car because of one falls out of your ear, you have a small back up pack handy. There's a larger version I bought to keep at home by my bed.

I'm impressed with the PQ Wax Ear Plugs! They molded easily to my ear shape, providing a comfortable and customized fit. In my 40s my recovery and sleep post a night shift has become really important to improve my work performance. Bought these and a comfy eye mask and my sleep improved significantly. I had no issues and often got a few wears out of one set of plugs as they have a nice container. I actually have bought these more than once.
