Whole thing relied on downward pressure from the water in the sink!No suction in the least, but I do like that it catches hair and loose veggies do they don't go clogging things up

I wanted a stopper for a utility sink in our lower level. An old fashioned stopper does the trip, but is easy to lose. This gadget sits in the drain and works well, simple push to open or close. Don't know why I need six, but I have five spares saved somewhere ;-)
