This “body cam” makes a great drive recorder, and that’s how I use it the most. In fact I rarely take it out of the car. You can use it as a body cam, of course, and it takes good quality videos that you can use in your social media. It is flexible, sturdy, and easy to use.

This body cam is ok the only issue I had was with the attachment to clips. Like when I use it as a dash cam the camera always falls the dash cam clip does not click in place very well. But the camera quality is good the night vision is also really good. The screen is a bit small but when you connect the camera to a pc or laptop you can see the videos a bit better. The battery life is pretty ok on it. The audio quality is very over powering. Its great value for the money. I like the features it has like the alarm the flashlight the night vision.

This bodycam is legit for the price. I was honestly expecting something less, but this meets my expectations. The video quality isn’t the greatest, but the battery is extremely long lasting. Not too heavy, but awkward to put on shirt. I am rating it 4 stars for its great battery, cool features, and mediocre video quality.

I'll start out by saying I'm not much of a technology guy and use computers and such as little as possible so purchasing a cam brand I'm not familiar with (unlike gopro etc) gave me some initial worries, that's for sure! Anyway, I decided to take the plunge! I was hoping this cam would come in handy for filming our outdoor videos (capturing short body shots/vehicle shots to paste into longer clips). We do a lot of deer hunting, bird watching, and fishing and like to document our adventures!.. My overall thoughts: Functionality: Camera functioned as intended. It's not chalk full of features you don't need and it seems to do anything I've asked of it! Durability: Honestly, I can't really attest to the durability of the cam at this point but I can say that in northern MN we've had reasonably warm temperatures causing tons of moisture and fog and I haven't noticed any effect to the cam/picture/lenses EASE of use: Notice i capitalized EASE.. camera operates seemlessly. No issues connecting, etc Video Quality: Video quality is on par with more expensive name brand cams!! Value: You tell me! Check out my review, compare the price to a gopro and mounts and you tell me what makes more sense to buy.. I can literally run a fleet of these for different angles, etc for the same price as a single big brand action cam. Overall: In all honesty, I'm a nearly 40yr old guy who isn't super versed in technology. I've been super please and even impressed in the functionality of this camera and the quality shots it produces. Give it a shot, I guarantee you won't regret it!!!

Nice camera, few bad things, You cant customize the name on it you can just edit to sets of numbers, really stupid!, it has no software to edit or playback videos, you can plug it in and play them back but there is no to know what you are watching as there is no timestamp in the playback, There is nothing special about this camera, no names no editing no time stamp, you can get alot more for less money

This is a nice camera. The night vision mode is excellent. The battery life is long. The one unforgivable thing about it is that it wants to write a date and time stamp and a camera ID number onto every frame of video. While you can configure what the camera ID number is, it must always be in the form of DSJ_XXXXXXX_XXXXXX, where you can choose characters for the Xs but the rest must stay the same. What's more, it's not even well rendered. I changed mine to "F***ING" and "STUPID" since that's how I feel about it, and the G doesn't even completely render as it gets overwritten with an underscore, which really rubs in just how f***ing stupid it is. It's really baffling that someone can make an otherwise fine product, but then make a mistake like this which makes it significantly less valuable. I was hoping that, when not using this as a body camera, I could use it to record other videos for other purposes. However, with that date/time/ID stamped on every video, what can I really do with it? It makes the camera completely useless for any purpose other than a body camera, which makes it significantly less valuable than it otherwise could be. Also the video memory cannot be removed. It's built into the camera. I guess the item description says as much but this is so odd that it should probably be in bold print because who honestly expects that a device doesn't simply use an SD card these days? One side-effect of this to keep in mind is that, if you have to return the camera for any reason, you must necessarily send back the storage medium as well. So don't use it to record anything confidential until you're absolutely positive you will not be returning the camera.

Great body camera, simple to use and great at low light streets. I love the simple turn on and push record feature...that's it. At night the night vision turns on automatically. I used it to walk my dog at the dog park for several days at 3hrs. Minimum without a problem or discharge battery. Viewing the footage was also simple. At first seeing all those buttons I got nervous but after seen a turn on button and a big red button to record I was happy since is all I needed...turn on and record. I highly recommend specially now a days dealing with ignorance on a simple walk. Times are changing and video proof is a must to avoid going to court on nonsense charges. This camera paid for itself already...I had a chihuahua dog out of leash attacked my dog on a park walk with the owner claiming to the police I was at fault when I had my dog by my side on a leash but the chihuahua dog owner made up a story on his favor...luckily after police saw my video my dog and I were on the clear against a layer irresponsible dog owner. I was lucky to had purchased a body camera days before the incident...what are the chances right?... well I had other closed call incidents before and that's why I decided to protect myself and my got paid off. I highly recommend this body cam...it save me from a huge time and costly headache. The cops automatically put me at fault for having the bigger dog but thankfully the body cam got us justice against the irresponsible dog owner crying wolf.

The quality of the image was exceptional for a bodyworn camera that lasted well over 8 hours. Easy to download and review files. The only minor issue was remembering which was the start/stop button while wearing, after a few trial and errors soon got the knack. Well worth the money, just wish I'd bought it before I went on holiday into the mountains.

I really like this body cam kit. There are plenty of attachments for various mounting applications, including a glass suction mount for a car windshield. Solid build with a 2" LCD color display. The entire camera has a hard rubberized overmold which protects it during drops as well as helps with waterproofing. Two swivel quick clips, one short and one long enough to fit any ballistic security vest. I have used a body cam before that had a magnet mount which was a little more secure with less camera bounce, but the good news is BOBLOV does offer an optional accessory that has a magnet mount. The highest resolution for this body cam is 2560x1440 (30fps) which is fantastic. As like any other action cam, there's a short learning curve. There are a number of prompt settings to toggle through, after multiple uses the user functionality gets easier. On the right side there are quick record buttons for video, voice and photo. On the left side is the on/off power, quick recorded clip review, LED light, and a PTT (Push to Talk) button. On the back are 4 buttons used to select and toggle through the features menu. All camera functional features are full customizable. From audible beeps, to infrared, to stealth mode, car mode, video loop, including pre and post (buffer) recording, all can be either on or off predicated on your needs. The only real issue I had was that my settings were not saved after powering off the camera. I would customize the settings I wanted, turn the camera off, then when powering up again all the settings would revert back to factory defaults. I performed this task a few times with no success, so then I had to contact BOBLOV support for a solution. Their customer support and email communications were excellent. (thanks Joy) I explained the camera fault, included FW data they needed including a supplied video. They sent a FW update that didn't work, so they promised to send a new replacement unit. Excellent support, will update when the new one arrives. UPDATED: Communication with BOBLOV customer support was excellent. No delays in email response and they were quick to reply They helped quickly identify the problem where settings were not being saved. A FW update they sent did not work so they promptly sent out a new unit where everything works. Exemplary service
