Teeccino, Chicory Herbal Coffee, Medium Roast, Caffeine Free, Hazelnut, 11 oz (312 g)

This product is naturally caffeine free and tastes very good. Don't expect it to taste like real coffee but tastes very good. There are also several flavours as well such as Mocha, Vanilla Nut, & Hazelnut. The downside it is expensive as Teecino are an American company to getting it in the UK is costly and often hit and miss on availability.

I am an occasional Caffeine Coffee drinker and very rarely a Tea drinker. My usual drink is Bambu, which is an instant hot drink - just add hot water - and in my opinion is very pleasant. I bought the Teecino Hazelnut drink to add to the hot drink flavour range available to me. I purchased a Bodum 3 cup cafetiere especially since this Hazelnut drink needs to be brewed, and filtered. One filling of the cafetiere provided me with one mug of Hazelnut 'coffee'. I do not as yet know the optimum ( if there is one ) brewing time. I added a splash of flavoured sugar syrup { coincidentally Hazelnut flavour - the only one I had ) and some Hazelnut plant milk. The result was an interesting flavour-rich drink, which I am happy with. As an experiment I refilled the cafetiere with hot water to extract a second mug - the colour was still there, but obviously most of the flavour was absent - but it was still drinkable ( perhaps the Tate & Lyle Hazelnut flavour Sugar Syrup ) had something to do with it - the original flavour was still detectable just very reduced. Update :- If you want the flavour you cannot be too mean with the scoop size - the flavoured syrup adds to the experience.

I found the smell when opening the packet so sickly I thought I would not be able to drink it. I brewed it up and the taste is actually a very good substitute for coffee!! It is very slightly bitter but not unpleasantly so. I will probably look to try one of the 'stronger' varieties next time. So yes I recommend this drink.

I love Teeccino products. This is the third flavour I've tried, the others being Java & Armaretto and they are all excellent. Tasty, smooth, even luxurious without milk or sugar. I credit these 'coffees' with saving me from worshiping the caffeine God! Rather expensive but you only need a scant desert spoon, I then leave that in the cafetière so it can be used with the next brew. If you want more coffee tasting then try the ones without flavouring, i.e., hazelnut or Armaretto.

Dietary restrictions forced me to look for alternatives to coffee & decaf. This is ok but very expensive. Have found better alternatives at a fraction of the price. Barley Cup being one.

LOVE IT! This is the nicest alternative to coffee I have come across. I would rather have this than coffee in fact. To my taste it has slight overtones of ameretto although others think differently- make it in a cafetière and mix it with ground coffee if you wish.

First of all, the smell was horrid, it somehow smelled artificial like toilet cleaner... The taste was less horrible, but that smell translates into a similar aftertaste. On top of this, when drinking it, you have to suffer the horrible smell every time you take a sip. I can't have coffee for medical reasons and I really wanted a new nice hot drink that would be reminiscent of coffee, but this wasn't that... I really don't understand the glowing reviews... It was so expensive and it's all going in the bin 😞 My partner was more or less of the same opinion, but said that they would drink it if they couldn't have real coffee. Personally I prefer plain chicory or other cheaper coffee alternatives.

Está muy bueno. Gran sabor. Genial para sustituir al café. El gran pero, precio salvaje. Es carísimo no merece la pena.

Nothing is better than Teeccino Chicory. It’s an amazing beverage: delicious, aromatic, and healthy!

Schmeckt super lecker aus der French Press. Mit etwas Sirup und/oder Milchschaum schmeckt es noch leckerer.

とてもアメリカンな、ヘーゼルナッツの甘～い香りのハーブコーヒー。ミルクと砂糖をたっぷり入れて飲むならおすすめです。濃く淹れればアイスでも飲めます。 苦味やコクが足りないので、ブラックには向きません。特に、チコリ100％みたいな味を想像すると、物足りなくてがっかりすると思います。チコリとブレンドすると、ブラックもありです。
