Owala SmoothSip Slider Insulated Stainless Steel Coffee Tumbler, Reusable Iced Coffee Cup, Hot Coffee Travel Mug, BPA Free 12 oz, Crochet Queen

I love this mug! The shape fits the hand very comfortably, it is easy to drink from, the pink color is just perfect, and I have gotten a few compliments on it too! It does a great job of keeping cold drinks cold- I have left iced water in the car for several hours in the Texas summer and there is usually some ice left unmelted and the water is still cool. Ice water will stay iced and cool overnight in 76-78 degree temps and all day at work. It does less well at keeping hot drinks hot- coffee brewed at 9 am will be lukewarm by 1 or 2 in an indoor office environment. Totally leakproof, so useful for keeping water on a nightstand and on my desk next to my keyboard, accidentally tipping it over is perfectly safe as long as the slide is closed. I bought mine in May 2025 and waited to do a review so I could see the durability and quality. It has held up great. I was worried about the slide closure top which is obviously the weakest link, but I literally use this thing 7 days a week and have had no problems. The powder coating has held up well also, good quality base prep and coating, no peeling, discoloration or fading. I’ve dropped it a couple of times onto pavement getting out of the car and only one tiny almost invisible speck knocked off, which hasn’t spread or chipped further. Also made a tiny dent on the bottom which is reasonable for 3 feet onto concrete while full. It is very durable and has a good weight and hand feel. Worth the money and saves plastic bottles from being used too. Cleaning is easy and fast once I watched the video one time to see how. I definitely recommend this product.

Favorite travel mug! Completely leak proof & simple to use. Great size as my coffee lasts all morning. Last few sips are lukewarm, but I am fine with that as usually is 6-7 hours later. Keeping leak proof slider shut helps, but often forget to close while at my desk. Fits in all cup holders and great quality. I purchased this in 2025 after using the smaller size for a while. Over all, my Owala’s have been the best travel mugs for coffee & best water bottles. They are leak proof, well designed, durable, and well worth the cost. The water bottles retain the cold longer than heat, but heat retention is decent compared to other brands and hold up better in my opinion. Repurchasing as my other travel mug handle is loose, never had a problem with my other 3-4 Owala’s, and this holds more coffee. I do wash my mugs by hand daily so they are long lasting as dishwasher heat is hard on any coated mug.

I’ve been using this Owala SmoothSip travel mug for my morning coffee, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. It fits perfectly in my car’s cup holder, making it ideal for my daily commute. The SmoothSip opening is very comfortable to drink from, and I like that I don’t have to remove a lid every time I take a sip. One feature I really appreciate is how easy the lid is to open and close. When I slide the lid open, I can hear a slight release of air, which gives me confidence that the lid is sealing well when it’s closed. It’s a small detail, but it really adds to the overall quality of the mug. The lid also comes apart completely for cleaning. I included a photo of the disassembled lid because that’s something I always look for before buying a travel mug. It’s nice knowing I can clean every part instead of wondering what’s hiding inside. I’ve had no issues with leaking, even while driving, and my coffee stays hot for a few hours, which is perfect for my morning commute. The mug feels sturdy, has a nice finish, and has quickly become my go-to coffee cup. If you’re looking for a well-made, leakproof travel mug that’s comfortable to drink from, easy to clean, and keeps your coffee hot, I would definitely recommend this one.

Title: Great coffee mug for everyday use I really like this Owala coffee mug. It keeps my coffee hot for a long time, and the SmoothSip lid is very comfortable to drink from. The slider closes securely and I haven’t had any leaking issues. It also fits perfectly in my car’s cup holder, which makes it great for commuting. The design is simple and cute, and the lid is easy to take apart and clean. Overall, a great quality travel mug and I would definitely recommend it.

Owala really is that girl and this tumbler is amazing. It holds and keeps my coffee nice and hot for hours on end and the SmoothSip Slider lid is amazing because it really is leakproof, so I can run out of my apartment, throw my tumbler in my bag and not worry about my coffee spilling. The color is super cute and it fits a good amount of liquid.

I've used many different tumblers; this is the first to get everything right: - excellent insulation *- does not leak - well designed mouthpiece - lid easy to disassemble and clean *- wearing parts replaceable (I was fed up with having to buy a whole new one when a rubber gasket wears out in a year) - big, not too big, at 20 oz (590 ml) - good feel, grippable textured finish - attractive simple design in nice color variety Minor improvements could include a 16-oz size, between their 12 and 20 versions, and a silicone parts kit in addition to the entire lid replacement.

I drink coffee daily, always when I wake up. My husband purchased these for me as I needed a reusable coffee cup on the go. I typically drink my coffee during my morning commute to work. It's almost impossible to drink hot coffee without a lid while driving....it goes everywhere!! I tried and I was fed up! He finally got us these Owala coffee cups with lids. Hallelujah!!! My husband found these at our local grocery store and decided to give them a try. He purchased a deep purple color and the tan color. They have the twist on/off coffee lids with the sliding closure tops to keep the coffee warm and to keep your coffee in the cup while on the move and not drinking. Let me tell you, I've been so impressed! We loved them so much, we went to Amazon to purchase more colors. Our local store was sold out! We purchased the pink and green online. Pros: These are insulated stainless steel cups. You cannot use anything other than stainless steel in my opinion for cleanliness and longevity. It will keep your coffee warm for as long as your drinking on it during your morning commute and during work for a bit longer. The smooth sip slider lid is amazing! The main reason is because it's fully detachable meaning no gunk gets stuck in it or missed during cleaning. You simply pop off the top piece and then switch the inside black piece allowing everything to be cleaned separately. The lid is easy to twist on and off. The sliding closure is also super easy to use and it definitely keeps the coffee in when closed and fumbling it around. The design is super sleek and classy. It's simple yet extremely functional. It has everything you need to it. It's very durable. Seems like it will last years 🤞🏻. Super happy with this product!!! Great value for the money. Cons: Speaking of money ...wow, these are expensive. I really hate to spend $30 for a cup! It almost caused me to not buy more. However after looking at other options, they were not super cheap either. Very unfortunate. I'm hopeful they will last with that price point. While I raved about the detachable lid pieces, I did really hurt my finger popping it out. My husband typically breaks the lid down for cleaning but this time he was busy so I did. I really hurt my finger but lesson learned, don't use your fingernails to pop off the top piece..it cracked my fingernail and it bruised and wouldn't stop bleeding. That could be a me problem but anyway...lol, be careful popping the lid pieces off! Overall, I love my cups but hate the price. I now have 4 so that should tell you something lol. Highly recommend and happy with my purchases!

I have a cabinet full of travel mugs and this one is my favorite. I love the color, its so cute! I love the sipping spout, it makes it easy to drink from while driving or carrying a child without worrying about spilling. It keeps my coffee hot for long enough to drink it. As with all travel mugs and thermoses, it does a better job of this if you put hot water in it for a few minutes before adding your coffee, but it's not essential. The 12oz is just the right size to take with me to work. Finally, it fits perfectly under my espresso machine (KF7) and fits in my Sienna’s cupholders.

Wow

Lovely cup but unfortunately is no good anymore as it won't stop leaking after only 3 months of use
