At first I was confused because the notebook I received looked nothing like the picture. Thankfully I noticed that the back has all the little added accessories for the notebook. That’s a bit different and just a tip for anyone else also confused. I really just needed a cute little notebook and this is it. The color is really off from the photo but it is still a cute purple color. It will work for exactly what I need it for.

This 100 page spiral notebook is very well made. The cover is flexible, and the spiral rings are solid and nicely flexible. The pages are thick and durable and easy to write on.The notebook has a double-sided plastic pocket folder in the back, stick on tabs included within that folder, and 4 pages (2 double-sided) in the front where “Contents” can be logged for what’s written on the rest of the college-ruled paper.To my surprise, the notebook needed to be assembled slightly. The strap that holds the book closed, the page markers, the ruler, and the pen holder are all separate and kept in one of the plastic folder pockets. They’re easy to attach to the notebook. The strap is inserted through two holes in the back and kept in place with metal t-shaped pieces, the page markers are a ribbon that’s folded in half and looped through the spirals, the standard thin plastic ruler inserts between the spirals, and the pen holder has a sticky back that can be applied to anywhere preferred. This is the biggest benefit of the self-assembly aspect, since I was able to position the pen where I liked it best.I like this notebook a lot. It’s perfectly sized to keep in my bag for when it’s needed, and the quality means it will last through the steady punishment of having books and my laptop bump against it.

I thought the description really oversold this book when I first opened it. Nothing is attached. It comes with a ribbon bookmark that you have to tie yourself, a pen holder that you have to stick on yourself, and an elastic closure that you have to affix yourself. The paper quality isn’t bad but it’s not great either. Best suited for ballpoint or fine/dry gel pens. The back cover has two tiny holes through which you can insert the metal ends of the elastic to create the closure. The problem with this is that you then have two little lumps in your book that you have to write over and as you get closer to the end of the book they get harder to avoid. I do like the soft lines on this paper, they’re broken too, which can help with spacing when drawing charts or tables.Pros: The soft cream color of the paper is easy on your eyes and this notebook is lightweight and slim. Comes with extras for personalizing. Plastic cover can deflect stains or be decorated. Has a large pocket in the back. Pages are numbered in very soft gray, matching the linesCons: not everyone’s cup of tea with the closure style. Cheap paper quality makes wet pens bleed and ghost. Every page has “Date” in the upper corner and the first couple of pages are labeled “Contents” which may not be useful to everyone.

I'm not happy with the color. I know monitors and screens show colors differently, but this notebook has no business being called purple. It's like a pinkish Lilac. I never buy pink things and this doesn't match any of my stuff. The poly covers are thin and even in the photo I posted, you can see the text through the cover. It did come with a lot of notebook accessories which is nice and will be very helpful. But I wish the color was more accurately pictured and described. The paper is thick and doesn't have any bleed thru with normal use of pens and highlighters.

This notebook comes with a ribbon to use to keep your place and an elastic closure band. There is also a pen holder, which is great! In addition, a back pocket and other useful organizing extras. The paper is a nice shade and wide-ruled. The cover is a flexible plastic on both sides, but not as hard as a cardboard so not the greatest if you’re writing without a flat surface for backing.
