Excellent product and very pleased with it.
Very very pleased with this product. My son recommended it to me and I’m pleased I took his advice. Easy to set up and brilliant picture quality and easy to remove and charge the battery. I purchased a second battery that is charged and ready so that I didn’t have to wait for it to charge.

Good value for money
Quite easy to set up, not so easy to link through blue tooth but eventually managed it. The bell volume can be a little hit and miss but nothing I can’t live with. The two-way connectivity works well and it picks up lots of detail. Very good, impressed given the cost.

Good doorbell camera but micro sd card will not format
Great doorbell camera, easy to set up and works well. I would definitely recommend this. However, if you would like recordings to work i suggest you buy the set that comes with the homebase. I am yet to purchase one however will be with some outdoor security cameras. For the recording, i bought a micro sd card to put in the camera, however after more than 10 attempts it still will not format, which is the reason this doesnt get 5 stars. I have re formatted it on a pc to both FAT32 & EXT4 and it still wont work. This is incredibly frustrating and disappointing, for a brand as established as Eufy i would have thought it would be easier. The micro sd card is a Sandisk class 10 UHS-1 which should work, from a bit of research this issue is very common. Again this is disappointing as you would think Eufy would sort this out. Overall i would recommend this camera, but the lack of being able to record is disappointing.

Not working as it should and this is experience after months of use!
Absolutely terrible product. Most of the time I can't see anything from camera. It is most of time off line and when somebody actually presses ring button , nothing is happening. Contacted seller and followed all their instructions but nothing changed. Then seller start to asking to try different things but non of them helped and also they requested all logs from unit, which I also send. But, when instead of replacing the unit with new one, they started to requesting from me to do testing of unit and writing down all the issues as is happening though that shouldn't be my job to test their product and upload all issues and log files, because that is actually should be part of development department job for which they are paid and I'm not, it's obviously that there is many software and hardware issues with this product. Will not recommend buying this product because it's not reliable, most of the time does not work as it should and support is not adequate. This is my personal opinion and experience with this unit after I tried all suggested solutions from seller and after months of use.

Super easy to install and use!
Very easy to install. Super user friendly. Has a nice quality video. The only thing that took maybe 10 minutes to figure it out was sending the invitation to my wife so she can have access to the doorbell app, not just me. Oh, and you if you leave on a main street that has high traffic, you are not ready for the notifications. What I mean by that is that the doorbell sense people really fast and if the it's set up for that, you'll get a notification for every person that passes by your house. I had to set the sensor to the lowest level, and even with that it still so good at detecting people. Also, there's no need to put the SD card into the Chime, just place it into the doorbell and you have the recordings available on your phone through the app. But if you want to you can put one into the Chime, but that means you'll have to buy 2 SD cards. But everyone is different. Anyway, this is one good doorbell and the price range is acceptable compared to others. Regarding the battery, I only lost 1% so far and it has been on for 5 days. So is going to be a while till the battery runs out of juice. And to avoid any headaches, i bought a second battery as a backup when i need to charge the first one. But with the way things are going I don't think is going to happen soon. Also, Night vision, crisp quality, but depends what lighting you have in your area, still it performs very well. Overall, I am glad that I bought this doorbell, now I don't have to worry that I will not hear when someone knocks atthe door.

Good video doorbell, but some issues
Video doorbell provides excellent extra security. However, despite very thorough set-up instructions, it is quite challenging to properly set up, such as getting notifications on a second phone - so be patient and persevere! After using for several months, I find it doesn't always activate when someone comes to the door, but mostly it works well.

Install tough for existing wiring but worth it. Great for people w/both Alexa&Nest or Smartthings/HA
Physical installation: Despite this being recommended for people with existing door bell wiring, a plug in adapter comes in the box and they only provide instructions on how to wire in a wall plug and drill through your wall. Not use existing wiring as suggested. Eufy support recommend a 24VAC 30VA output transformer (which cost £35 on Amazon and have reviews flagging how dangerous they are) which are extremely uncommon in uk and Ireland. However i managed to get enough power from the 24VAC 1A trafo I had (search "garo 24v bell transformer" on screwfix, about a tenner). These are very similar to the transformer supplied by Ring Pro in the box in Europe. However most old houses will not have these so you will likely need to buy one separately. I had to bypass my existing chime which was fine but its up and running now no problems (except some errors downloading firmware upgrades). I contacted support but they were really not much help for installation. App setup: Once physically installed, app was super easy to setup. It prompted me to update firmware which wouldn't work for me, but worked fine after a day. Once setup you can choose activity zones and "ignore zones" for motion detection. Great for people near roads. You can also adjust motion sensitivity to only pick up what it detects at human movement with is great. I only wish they had two motion sensitivity settings 1) to trigger recording (should be more sensitive) and 2) to trigger notifications (should be less sensitive and only when a human is detected). Otherwise you have the option get notifications all the time for any movement or else less notifications but less recordings (means you miss a lot). Night vision is not an option for me as my setup has to be beside a large white wall which blows out the infrared (see 1st pic). However I have enough ambient light to not use it (last pic). The supplied 15° wedge helps a little, but would love it there was a 45° corner cit available like there is for the ring, this would solve my night vision problem. They do exist but only from 3rd party 3d printers in America which is disappointing. App notifications: There is zero lag in notifications or physical chime, and I mean it. I was very impressed. I have gigabit broadband and it's about 5 metres from the router (through an external wall) but connection is instant. And theres only about 0.5s lag in conversation. When it detects motion you get a thumbnail of the person's face very quickly and the same thing for a door press. Storage: Storage costs nothing since it's local which is great. You can easily download the videos to your phone (one click) and then have Google photos backup the folder automatically which frees phone storage and retains everything in cloud. Downside is clearly this can be ripped off wall and videos which haven't been downloaded to phone disappear once power is off. Smart home integration: I have it connected via my Google Nest Hub and my Echo Show. I can ask either to show me the doorbell and see it no problem. Haven't yet tried but I don't think they automatically display the feed when the bell goes, only when you ask. You can also use Alexa routines to do things on door press (e.g. doorbell pressed, turn on outside lights). You cannot trigger anything on motion however. For smartthings I have created a virtual device for when they doorbell is pressed which turns on via Alexa routine and off after 5 minutes. That was I can run automations based on front door activity with context of time of day etc. I'm hoping to figure a way to display the feed on my Nvidia shield depending on that button press, but I will come back if I can. I should say too it does use echo devices as a chime as well which is handy for multiple floors of house (though provided chime is plenty loud IMHO). Summary: Great option for people who have both Nest and Alexa ecosystems and want to be able to use both. If you are committed to Nest or Alexa/Ring/Fire you might be better served in either ecosystem. However if you want no monthly costs and an always on doorbell this is for you. Eufy if you're reading, please make available the corner kit options and improve you EU installation instructions. If you think people need transformers, you should supply them like Ring Pro! And please provide two different motion sensitivity settings; one for recording and one for notifying!

Bigger battery=perfect
After purchasing the C30 and realizing that I could only get about three weeks of battery life per charge, I decided to upgrade to the C31. The higher battery capacity and the fact that the battery is removable were the main factors that influenced my decision. Positives of the C31: • The video quality is clear and crisp. • Two-way communication – The audio is clear at both ends of the conversation. • The included wedge was helpful, as I needed to angle the doorbell to get the correct view. • Colour night vision – Despite claims from Eufy, YouTube reviews and Google, with an outdoor light, you will get colour night vision, which is a great feature. • Smart, robust design – It’s both functional and attractive. • Oh yea, no subscription required A bonus with the C31 is the choice to wire it directly to the mains using an adapter, which eliminates the need for battery charging. However, since my wall is very thick, this wasn’t an option for me. To minimize downtime, I bought a spare battery, so when it’s time for a swap, it only takes about three minutes. As days lengthen and the temperature increases, I am sure the time between charges will improve, i.e. the IR LEDs wont come on so readily and of course lithium, like me prefer warmth. Now for the not-so-great part: • In the app, the battery initially shows as 100% for about five days. But once it starts to drop, it does so quickly and dramatically. • The settings I have are required to capture the action I need but they do impact battery life.

Great value when you consider no subscription
We purchased this doorbell specifically because it didn’t need to be wired to previous doorbell and because there were no subscription fees. It took a little while to get it working properly to record but that was due to a faulty SD card and to no fault of the camera itself. I love that you can see the events and that you don’t have to pay a monthly fee to do so. Picture quality is great and the app is quite user friendly. The only thing that could improve on our end is the motion detection being quicker. We have ours aimed down our stairs and the motion detection set to high but if a delivery driver is super quick to drop off a package, the camera misses the event. This may be solve-able if we were to move the camera to another location but we have it covering the hole in our house from our old doorbell so we prefer not to move it. Otherwise, it’s a great camera. Battery life doesn’t last quite as long as we had hoped but it’s chargeable and super easy to do so has caused us no issues.

Beeindruckend
