Koss | UR-20 Stereo Over Ear Headphones | DJ | Recording, Black

These are exceptionally good headphones for the money. They are big and look a bit stupid (though I think they look quite cool) but they are very comfortable for extended use. Very well cushioned and cover the ear nicely. The cord is straight and not too long, but of adequate length.The only problem with these is that they sound so good, that you end up using them more than you should. I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506 that cost over a hundred quid and a couple of pairs of cheap Sennheisers, to compare them to, and these sound fantastic.They are 32 ohms, so that means they are quite loud compared to other headphones, so no complaints there. They are a closed back design which means that you can blast them out as loud as they go and people around you won't be able to hear. This also means they block out sound from outside too as a bonus.There really isn't anything in this price range that compares with the comfort, loudness and sound quality of these cans. The bass is full and pronounced but not over emphasized, giving a truly wonderful listening experience. They are also solidly built and can take a lot of punsishment, again, for the price. Mine gave up and fell to bits after 2 years of wearing them to bed at night whilst sleeping! I have just bought my second pair.If there is a better pair of cans out there for the money, I'd like to know about it.

I chose the Koss UR 20 as a replacement for a more expensive set of Sony headphones which was damaged some time ago. Really for the price I wasn't expecting such good quality, the headphones live up to Koss' reputation for quality. They are very light and fit comfortably and at half volume on my iPod give me excellent sound and definition. Bass is not over the top as it is with some other phones and there is almost no sound leakage, iether from the phones or into them from outside. I love the whole ear enclose, even though this makes them a little large. The product arrived well packaged three days before the expected delivery date. Very pleased.

This is the second pair of these I've owned. The pads started to flake on the original pair, but they were a few years old. Used for DJing and were loud enough for this. My Wife pinched these from me for video editing and is very happy with them, so I bought another pair. Sound quality is good, nice and warm pretty comfortable.

I very nearly didn't buy these headphones because they were so cheap. My old 'phones broke and I needed something quickly. The phones are comfortable, look well made and have a good presence, so much so that I finally realised how poor my old ones were. Supplied promptly and well packaged. Oh, and the cord is a good quality one of a good length. To be honest they are worth 15 quid more.Quite a bit later: (Jan 2013) They are better than I thought, comfortable for 6 hours at a time and they have taken heaps of abuse. Lost count of the number of times they have hit the floor. 6 stars.

An excellent "bargain" buy for a set of headphones.Nice and light to wear,very little sound bleed,although they`re so good,you`ll probably not need the volume cranked up too loud.Good lead length not too long which can be annoying,as can a short one,i would put this one around 5` - 6` more than ample,well for me anyway.I just wanted a reasonable set for plugging into my Marshall practice amp so as not to annoy the rest of the house,these more than fit the bill.They also have an adaptor for "full size" connections to audio equipment as well as a micro plug for MP3 players.Overall a very good set of budget `phones which sound like they should be much more expensive.

A little muddy compared to the slightly-more-expensive Sennheiser PX-100s I bought years ago. These aren't as good on the high-ends, but are very comfortable and suitable for monitoring when a little peace and quiet is needed for everyone else in your household! At around £15 you wont get better headphones (maybe unless SH hit the mark again)

Had these on my wish list for a few years after reading some recommendations about budget headphones on reddit.They sound great, to me at least. I'm no audiophile.They do feel a little plasticky, but at £18 I'm not complaining.The cable is a little stiff so the kinks that were in it from when it was packed don't straighten out, which can be a little annoying.Overall almost very good.----------------------------One little side note, discovered when I got them home to my PC that the little amp I've bolted under the desk has no headphone socket and I've not wired up the front sockets on my PC yet :(So at the moment they look nice on my desk.

Very good value for the price. The mid-range is clear and the Bass though not deep is quite present. Was pleasantly surprised at the sound and build quality, compared to many higher priced products including Koss.

Machen was sie sollen. Etwas leise und rcht klobig. Sehen aufgesetzt merkwürdig aus aber für den Heimgebrauch ok.

Sound great and comfortable for price

They were cheap but i cannot use them as they are not comfortable AT ALL. Tried them once and threw them away. Just my personal opinion i hope others were happy but not me.
