If you are unsure about making the right connections. The wiring loom colours should be identical, from this you should via the supplied wiring diagram be able work out the duty of èach of the wires and compare this with the actual boiler connections. If in doubt standard boiler connections are available via Google.

Yes, in fact, I think it is better made. I think the Honeywell is made to wear out. Plumbers get regular business fitting them, an easy job. Fit this one and it will last. That is my experience.

How do you install this ? Do you need to drain the system ?

If you are lucky you may have some isolating valves either side of the motorised valve. Sometimes there are isolating valves on the pump (so you are generally sorted one side of the valve) and you then just need another on the other side of the motorised valve. Then you can avoid draining the whole system.
