These come with one feature; they turn off and on. That's all I needed them to do. I used these for my garage windows, I have 5. I don't need to adjust sensitivity or volume there because it's not a living space. For the price these are a great value. They are loud enough that I can hear them in the house, which is attached to the garage, and they stuck on the windows without a problem. I tested them and they are sensitive enough that if someone were to bang on my window they will go off, I like that. Time will tell on battery life but replacements are cheap and theres no amount of money I wouldn't pay for peace of mind.

Glad to have these. One arrived broken, but I had two extras so it wasn’t a big deal. There are two on adjacent windows in my living room, though, and one of them seems to go off far too often. (In fact, of the 10 I installed, it is the only one that has gone off at all.) If my dog barks, it will go off, but the one on the adjacent window doesn’t - and none of the others go off when he barks. It also does not stop. I’ll get a “sound detection” notification from my security cameras and 20-30 minutes later when I’m able to get home, that same one is still going off. I assume it’s broken as it’s the only one that does this and seemingly for no reason. Other than that, I’m happy to have purchased these. They’re also fairly loud, and the one that goes off every day can be heard from outside lol.

These small alarms do what I need them to do and nothing else! My house is neary by the highway and I can fell some vibrations when touching my house windows when a truck rolls by. I just worry these alarms will be triggered by the vibrations and therefore be useless. It's success. They work great and no false alarms! It's easy to replace the batteries when they run out without removing the item from the window. It's nice and loud alarm. Strongly recommend!

After many recent break-ins in our neighborhood, we got a bunch of these for our windows. Your windows don't need to shatter in order for these to work. Even if it rattles, the alarm will sound. The alarm is loud enough that it can be heard everywhere in a 2 story house. I bought 12 packs of these!!

I have a dozen or so of these Catsonics and also have a dozen of the Doberman alarms that appear almost identical. After about 4 weeks - the Catsonic alarms become almost impossible to reset - using the little button. No amount of taping, pressing or rubbing them will reset them. The Dobermans are far more sensitive and are set off by sun hitting the window, thunder and any sharp noises in the house - even dropping a fork. Meaning lots of false alarms. The batteries lasted about a year. Additionally, neither alarms are loud enough to heard outside above ambient street noises. Don't depend on you neighbor hearing them. I would say save your money for a decent security system, but I have yet to find one that is cost effective, reliable and durable.

As far as functionality goes, these alarms most definitely work. Even the slightest vibration will set these things off and they are super loud so they are sure to scare anyone away who might be attempting to break in. The problem is that they are overly sensitive and go off for the slightest reason. Even the slight vibrations that occur on my windows when my dog barks sets them off and it is a real pain. The installation is a breeze and pretty self explanatory. The adhesion on the back of the alarms are durable and I've had no trouble with any of them falling off so thats a good point. Unfortunately we are looking to go ahead in just replace these because they are not very convenient. We have to turn them off during the day because any noise sets them off and most of the time we forget to turn them back on. Another thing that bothers me is that when the alarms go off the siren goes on and on and does not turn off, draining the battery.
