Review: Easy to use. - Love this scale. I have Great Dane puppies to weigh and measure growth. Works well since the puppies get so big so fast. My only complaint is when I try to use it outside in sunlight, even shade, I cannot see the led lights for weight. I have to use it indoors only. Very frustrating. Not sure if I’m missing something or have a defect. The scale is easy to use and very accurate. Display is nice and easy to read, but again mine only works in indoor lighting. Review: Stopped working after only a dozen uses. - I purchased this unit to be able to weigh my larger pets. I have it stored under the bed most of the time. After only a few times of weighing my pets (I usually do it once a year), it started giving erroneous results. By this time I was past the 1 year warranty period. It would rapidly change final results by 25lbs or more and would even change from lbs/oz. to kg on it's own after it was set. I'd set it for lbs/oz, then step on it and it would change to kg and tell me I weighed half of my actual weight. I changed the batteries thinking maybe they were to blame if low, but that didn't change anything. Now I have a huge hunk of worthless glass that I don't want to put into the landfill. It is a beautifully designed unit, but absolutely worthless as an accurate scale.

Picture is deceiving...
This is a nice scale, but the picture showing a Lab on the scale is deceiving. It must be a very small Lab (or Golden Retriever). I bought this scale thinking I would be able to weigh my 83 lbs. Shepard. She really doesn't fit very well on it. I also have a Mastiff pup that will outgrow this quickly. It does seem to be accurate though. I weighed my puppy Saturday and the weight seemed right on.

Best dog scale ever!!
Git this scale to help me get weight of my 3 dogs!!! It is awesome. Dogs love weigh in day. Turns in easy, they weigh in easy, and it has helped me get 6 pounds off one dog 2 pounds off 2nd dog and 1 pound off 3rd dog. First dog is a boxer that weighs 89 pounds and she gets on and sits and it wirks awesome.

worst product ever.
This is the worst designed scale for pets I've ever seen. The buttons are on the top and every time a dog wiggles, it steps on the buttons and turns the scale off. So, it takes forever to actually weigh a dog ... if ever! And, my scale didn't even make it to a year before falling apart and no longer working.

Bad design
I purchased this scale to weigh my two Labrador Retreivers. The buttons that operate the scale are placed right where the animals have to step to be weighed. The buttons are overly sensitive. It is virtually impossible to get an accurate weight because any time the dog moves the mode changes or the scale shuts off. This scale is fine for weighing inanimate objects. It is useless unless the animal being weighed can be taught to stand completely still. Buttons on the side would make this a great scale. Buttons right where the dog stands make this thing worthless. Who designed this?

pretty good! Is it because my dog are so heavy ...
pretty good! Is it because my dog are so heavy Works great. It's a hundred percent better than our old Weight Watchers digital scale. It turns on quickly, with no waiting for it to cycle to zero, the top is flat and cleans easily, reads weight consistently, and seems fairly accurate.

Doesn’t read under 2lbs
Does go under 2lbs. Great for dogs, just not puppies. Kinda disappointed
