Good costume

Great for Greek day at my son's school. He's in Year 3, eight years old, so I bought the 8-9 years size and it fits really well. The costume itself is decent enough quality for a fancy dress type of thing - the white shift dress has the red and gold sash stitched to one shoulder and the gold belt is tied at the back with white fabric. The leafy headband looks effective but probably wouldn't be that comfy to wear long-term as the leaves are a bit scratchy, but it's fine for photos/to get the overall effect. My son wore this for Greek day at school, but it would be useful for Roman day too! It would've been cheaper if I were more organised, but I left it until all the schools do Greek day and it was about £15. I still consider this pretty good value for money as there's no way I would be able to fashion such an outfit and have it be something my son was prepared to wear in public...! So yes, I would recommend this.

My daughter really loved this costume, albeit abit see through but still good quality- my 8y/o just wore shorts and vest underneath, every other child seemed to have done the same with their different costumes too anyway. She was the only one with this one. I liked how the laurels were shaped like actual leaves compared to other costumes headpieces. I also just safety pinned to red drape to the side onto the dress to keep the look intact. Good sizing, I went for aged 9 I believe but she is tall.

When I ordered this costume for my son it was exactly the right size for him and looked like the picture. In some places that I ordered from it wasn't what they described. Also fits my son perfect

Unfortunately the packaging was damaged and there was a stain on the item. I have returned. The item was exactly as pictured
