Hiking at the rim of the Grand Canyon was no issue with these.- The mesh construction makes for a nice light feel, and allows the shoes to be inexpensive. However, they shouldn’t really be considered a “water feature,” as the shoes take as long to dry out after submersion as any other standard sneaker due to the many non-mesh sections.- The shoes look fairly cheap to the discerning eye, and the construction is a little sloppy (sections don’t fit together totally perfectly, some glue may be slopped on without care), but they’re relatively hearty for the price. They’ve lasted my family through miles of hikes with no issues. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Using them as hiking shoes *by T***E on June 26, 2018* Well when I received my shoes they were a half size smaller that what I ordered. Initially out of the box I was upset but I put them on anyway. To my astonishment they actually fit me really nicely. So I guess I would've been more disappointed if I got what I actually ordered.My review is after several months of use. And by use I mean I use these as hiking shoes so my feet can breathe easier because no matter how (waterproof) you think your shoe or boot is, your feet is getting wet regardless. I own keen and Solomon shoes and mid hikers so comparison I can say this opinion wise. So you might as well get something that'll dry as quick as possible.Using them as hiker shoes are phenomenal. I live in PA and our trails are covered with rocks and boulders and my feet still stay comfortable so that's a plus. I usually do 10 mile days in them or more depending who's with me.I can cross streams, walk in rain, get them muddy, and they dry within a couple hours of just air drying while I'm still hiking. Not to mention excellent traction and grip.I will definitely buy another pair once these ware out. And best part is, is the holes in the bottom sole let the water just drain right out through the little pits in the side of the shoes sole. Love them so far ### ⭐⭐ Not recommended as water shoes *by J***V on June 12, 2018* Not recommended as water shoes.They drain well but do not dry quickly.
