8"x8"x6" Reptile Terrarium, Single-Door Glass Terrestrial Vivarium for Small Arthropod Pets Such as Trinidad Dwarf Tiger Tarantulas, with Lock & Waterproof Deep Base Below Front Door

I chose this tank because I wanted to build a terrarium with a false bottom and a water pump setup. The size was perfect, and it looked like it could hold up to about 4 inches of water at the bottom. I did have to seal all the edges with silicone, especially around the middle, and run several leak tests before I got it completely watertight. In the end, it worked out well for what I needed. That said, I’d still recommend getting a pre-sealed tank if your budget allows, just to save time and effort if you are thinking of doing something similar. But since I was trying to keep costs down, this was a solid workaround. Everything else was easy to assemble, and the terrarium turned out really nice!

Usually buy a popular name-brand enclosure, but with the current, uh, issues in my country, I've had to buy from other brands. For the price (at the time I purchased it), this enclosure is quality-made, easy to clean, and functions as expected. Much cheaper than my preferred brand, but it is very well-made. I actually prefer the screen material use on this enclosure versus my usual. The only con is that the way the screen top goes on; it has two tabs that slide in before you lower the top to close it. This makes it slightly difficult to remove the top, but I just used one of those tiny command hooks to make myself a pull-up handle. Problem solved :)

Perfect. I actually am using this for carnivorous plants. I have found terrariums that are for reptiles are actually cheaper than buying terrariums that are for plants. Ironic. It holds humidity well for me.

This is perfect! Sturdy, clear glass, great front lock. If I need anymore I will purchase another one.

The top frame is able to very easily be pushed up- almost no effort- any climbing reptile like a snake or lizard would be able to push it up to get out. Which would be fine since I'm using the terrarium for inverts- but the glass doors have gaps big enough that isopods can get out- I'm using this terrarium for hissers and half of them could squeeze out as well. I will probably line the doors with silicone edgeing to close the gaps so I can use it- but I would NOT use this for a reptile- they WILL escape from the top frame. Even with the screen on and locked- the space between the frame and doors can be pushed up. Even laid back reptiles will test the top of any terrarium. The frame really should be metal- not plastic.

It was the prefect size for my needs. And came pre-assembled. My gecko loves it.

Our second terrarium. Easy to build and well made with metal components. Most importantly well packed so arrived all in tact. Good option on lid system for cabling access and controls. Well made and would recommend.

I put this all together and am quite happy with it for ease of assembly and overall quality. One thing to mention, i have one snake thats a baby and the quarter inch gap between the front doors was not serving me well, so i cut a piece of aquarium hose length wise, and set it on one piece of glass to close the gap. I would recomend to the seller to offer a piece of rubber in the package for this purpose.
