Color Depositing Mask & Glossing Treatment, Golden Brown, 8 Fl Oz

This is a great product - easy to use, it covered my greys, longer-lasting than expected. However, this “Golden Brown” pulled very red on me. My greys turned copper and my natural dark brown looked very dark auburn. Since this is semi-permanent, the color is gradually fading and I’ve found it staining my bath towel that I wrap around my head after washing. Those “criticisms” are just FYIs, though - the product works very well with great conditioning features and leaving a nice glossy shine. For me, XMondo was a good introduction into the world of DIY semi-permanent color.

Smells soooo good! The first container made my hair feel so soft and smell amazing. But when I purchased more to finish my hair the jar was damaged (still had to use it to finish my hair) and color is STILL coming out of every shampoo running all over my walls and floor and curtain! The color does not run out when conditioning only shampoo, and its a lot! Which is very very sad cause I love the smell and have gotten compliments on the color when it was first done. Also note that Sally's does not sell colors like this! Only the bold colors! Not natural colors 😔. So I had waisted gas driving to the closest Sally's near us and they only sell like green,blue,red colors..so thats just something to think about cause natural colors should be an option..also I did purchase a bright color to do my sister in laws hair since I had already drove over 30 min,and took my time doing her hair and got every single strand! Allllll of the hair dye came out during the rinsing process!!!!!!! This was a huge let down cause I was so excited to finally try his brand! I watch his videos all the time through tik tok,and I still will! Just very disappointed in this specific product! I did also purchase the xmundo hair lotion! I have no complaints about that! Smells fantastic!

The product itself is good quality, easy to use and my hair feels soft and healthy. However, the shade 5G Golden Brown is not “golden” at all. It turned my hair RED. It doesn’t look bad so I’m not too upset about it, however this is not the vibe I had wanted.

Okay, I bleached my hair from probably 4n up to 9. Then I decided to go back to brown, but ended up copper. I decided to try out copper and bought xmondo 7c. It deposited very vivid color, but did nothing to improve the condition of my totally fried hair (pic 1 is I think a couple washes after - I don't have a direct after). I then did a bunch of treatments to close my cuticles and get my hair looking and feeling better (pic 2). Then I wanted to get a richer brunette look so I bought the xmondo 5g and granted that it made my hair shinier, but it went only inky dark and very red. This could be because of the coppery tone of my before, but then why did it pull so dark? So my thinking is that the colors can pull dark on lightened hair and that they don't do a lot for hair condition if your hair is trashed, but I got a good gloss after repairing. That said there aren't great products for semi permanent natural colors so while I wish the 5g gave me a lighter less red result, I'm not sure I have a better option. And while the 7c didn't make my hair feel better, it did give it a vivid true color. So I'd probably buy/use them again.

So this is the test strip in the middle of my old blonde hair. It's supposed to be a golden tone but there seems to be alot of red in the product. Turned me ginger, but I'm actually not all that mad about it. I love the color, even if it wasn't what I originally was going for. Word of warning, this is highly pigmented. Wear gloves, Vaseline around your hair line. Wear clothes you don't care get stained, put towels on the floor and be aware your shower will look like someone's been murdered in it. Overall, hair looks and feels great. Love the color!

Awesome stuff! I purchased after seeing Brad’s advertisement a few times. Wow! My hair is so soft, shiny and vibrant! I can’t stop feeling my hair! Never has my hair felt so soft, even with expensive deep conditioning treatments. I have thin, fine shoulder-length hair, so it only took maybe 2 tablespoons worth (if even that much) to saturate my hair, so I was pleased that I will get many uses out of the one jar. I will be interested to see how long it lasts, as I shampoo my hair almost every day. So far I love it!

I love Brad mondo’s videos on social media. I have watched where people use this product and it’s beautiful. I purchased this with good expectations and was terribly disappointed. I purchased the golden brown. I applied it as per instructions and rinsed it out. My hair was virgin. I do have some gray. It does not cover gray at all. The rest of my hair was purple black! I was a sight! I looked like I dipped the ends of my hair in black shoe polish. Trust me, you do not want to spend money on this mask. I threw it out! $20 down the drain.

It wasnt golden brown at all. Turned my hair brown red and after a few washes its more red than before. Sad about the color the product is nice enough but it will stain your hands wear gloves!!!!

From what I can tell the colour came out looking okay. I had to use more than half the tub to fully saturate my hair and it was difficult to brush through. That being said it did not have the strong hair dye stench that comes with box dyes. With that in mind the product promises hair that feels healthier and looks glossy and that just isn't the case. I purchase Golden Brown but it is very obviously red based, my hair is now auburn. Finally, rinsing this product has stained my bathtub and shower terribly. I have used all tones of permanent box dyes in the past and never have they stained the tub. Using a magic eraser along with comet containing bleach I was able to improve the situation but it still looks lightly stained. So for $40 would I do it again? No. There are other, more affordable demi permanent dyes I will look to in the future. Sorry XMondo this ain't it.

I wanted to like it. But it didn't really colour my hair. I was trying to tint my natural hair to blend a bit more with my growing out dyed hair, and well my roots are still very much present..and it also didn't even make my hair feel nice afterwards :/ it did stain everything it touched in my bathroom.. so overall not to happy.
